The depth of your explanations is awesome and amazing!!! You’re not only an great makeup artist but the best teacher👍👍🙌🙌 and you also make it so fun to watch. Amazing!!! Thank you so much 🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I usually watch makeup videos and they take a lot of things for granted and I end up being more confused than I was at the beginning. I don't know many things about makeup, that's why i watch tutorials! Instead, you are so professional, I've finally found useful information. Thank you.
Thank you so much for explaining what brushes to use!! You are fantastic! Could you show us your makeup station set up and how you store your makeup and brushes at home? I’m trying to set up my make up station at home to be more officiant and to make sure I am taking good care of my brushes. And one video that you gave us a glance add some acrylic storage bins from the container store, do you mind showing us more?
Jayne Price you're not the only one. I have many of her videos actually saved in a file so that I may watch them over and over again. She's like a beautiful angel that knows all about makeup! She's so smart and I could listen to her for hours! ❤️
Hello, my dear Andreea! Thanks a lot for this uptodated version regarding make-up-brushes! I'm a follower for let's say one and a half years now and it's always heartwarming and amazing to look at your videos. Go on, girl, wish you the very best. Love from Italy.
If you like, you could also do a video on how to clean your makeup brushes (and sponges). Or in general, how to take care after your makeup (pallets, sticks, brushes...).
Japonesque began selling their face brushes at Walmart for around $16. Their foundation brush is fantastic (large triangle shape.) There are so many great drugstore brands available, so no matter what your budget, you can find amazing brushes. Milani and Flower are a lot like IT Cosmetics as far as softness and quality. Eco Tools (360 3 pack for foundation and smaller eye brushes) Moda, RT, Wet and Wild, even Equate has brushes for under $4 that are really good. Everyone loves Elf studio brushes but washing them, you can tell how cheaply made they are and the handles always fall off.
Thank you so much ! Paris is not that great in terms of drugstores, but I'm visiting US quite often so I'll definitely check them out when I get there.
I like Sonja Kushak brushes and real technique, I try to keep the cost down, and I agree on Elf brushes they don't wash well at all. real technique wash up the best of this price point I think. I haven't tried Morphe brushes yet- they are on my list.
Connie I just tried the Moda brand recently and they are even better than RT, imo. They are similar in all the good ways (price, quality, durability is probably better) but A LOT softer than the RT...the new all black ones are the just as good as their originals, if not better. I even love their paddle brushes (look like toothbrushes) which I thought would be cheap and break right away because of other brands I’ve tried like those. I was pleasantly surprised though. I get the most airbrushed finish from those with powders, liquids and cream products. Not long ago you had no choice but to buy the $20 eye brushes and $35+ face brushes, but I don’t see the need anymore. I did forget the Sonia Kashuk brushes in my original comment and they last for YEARS and hit all the marks. It is a shame they removed SK make up because that too was excellent.
none of my morphe are on the list but that doesnt stop me from watching because your recommendation is the one i should consider to follow. love from asia!
The best, most thorough, informative video I have EVER seen on brushes. You are the best! Hilarious and I just love your personality. Simply giving info on brushes is interesting when it’s you delivering the info. 🤗
I am make up artist from Greece . I agree with you !!!! You are fantastic !!!!! I bought Laura Mercier's brush and now I am crying my money ........ Kisses !!!!!
Thanks for sharing the brushes you don't use, I've always wondered how to use my flat foundation brush, I thought I was wrong in just not making it work, ever! Definitely changing it for one of the ones you talked about in the video
After watching several of your videos, I went out yesterday to buy brand new makeup and brushes. This is the first morning I felt excited to put on make up, because you have explained and shown amazing techniques that I have never been taught. I'm sitting here feeling beautiful because of you! I was wondering, now that you've provided the outer beauty techniques you use...would you please let us know how much water you drink and tell us what you infuse your water with, if you do? Also, are there specific foods and vitamin supplements that you eat intentionally for your skin? Thank you so much for making all these videos, you have become my ONLY makeup adviser now. :)
GREAT video! The most useful section for me was the end when you explain why other brushes don't work... what made you purchase them... and your thoughts now on it. THANK YOU SOOO much. I still have the 4 Bobbi Brown brushes I bought when I was 16, I'm 46 now and they still work great! Except I prefer softer brushes now, for some applications, and Wayne Goss is my favorite. (Haven't tried Hakuhdo Brushes yet.)
AmZing info! Loved your expose on the exotic shaped brushes! I’m totally with you on the odd shaped ones. But realize I need a few more eye blenders. Thanks for sharing!!
Much needed tutorial, I always used to wonder how to get a perfect brush for each purpose, now hopefully I will be sorted. Generally, if you getting ready in a jiffy you don't have much time switch ten brushes, but this way you keep a few good ones which do the job perfectly... Thank you for covering this topic!!
It’s so in detail and really fit for starters. Watching your videos help me a lot to distinguish the difference among products! Helpful for my shopping basket
Great tutorial for brushes!! Appreciate your sincere opinion Andreea!! Im going to purchase some of them! Thanks for so precious tips and advices! Of course saved the video!!
Hi Ali. Thank you for your guidance and help. Your videos are always fun and very insightful. Can you please advise what eye makeup are you wearing in this video. It’s lovely 😊
Thank you so so so so so so much. This is so helpful. Glad to be subscribed to your very positive and professional RUclips channel. Love from Kazakhstan 🥰
Could you make a video about how you keep everything organized? I don't have a ton of product but it's always a mess everywhere. How do you keep your brushes and how often do you wash them? Thanks!!!!!!
Yey! Brush videos! Havent finished the video yet but thank you! BTw Mac brushes are now synthetic, wonder if you still recommend the synthetic versions
I haven't bought a brush from MAC in quite some time. Not sure if the ones I have are natural hair, but I could swear they are. I'll buy some new ones and let you know.
Ali Andreea wow i see. I’m excited! I wanted to say thank you so so much!!! I just started collecting mac brushes earlier this year as it became convenient for me to buy from mac but then I heard that they will Go synthetic. I start searching for Brush videos related to mac so I know which one I’ll buy ASAP thats How I discovered your channel and followed your recommendations... true enough I really Love them!!! And now im wishing of getting some backups but there synthetic now.. at least i got them except for 228, you saved me just in time thank you so much!
worldsendumbrella you should try Hakuhodo brushes instead of Mac. Almost all their brushes are better and around same price. They’re also natural hair. Although Hakuhodo also has some very expensive brushes.
@@AliAndreea unfortunately MAC (like Tom Ford) and all going synthetic. On the MAC ones the original brush number is followed by an 's' signifying synthetic and IMO they are horrible. I have no problem with using synthetic on the face but for the eyes very few brands can get it right. Luxie is okay for synthetic eye brushes in a pinch but I always use natural hair on the eyes. Those paddle style foundation brushes always come in handy for applying face masks. 😉 ❤
Hi Andreea - thankyou so much for your tutorials. I've only just become a subscriber. I very much like the fun, natural and very real way you present. You've inspired me to rediscover my makeup kit and to experiment and practice new ways of doing things. Could you please post a tutorial on how best to apply and use the now very fashionable glitzy shimmer eye creams / shadows on the market - for the young and not so young. Wishing you all tbe best from Western Australia.💋
Awesome! Thank you for all your insight every time :) Quick request, could you please do a Tutorial on a Make up for us who wear Eye Glasses, that would be wonderful!! I think it's different, need to have more products?? Thank you!!! Hugs from Canada!
Such an amazing video! Could you PLEASE make a similar video but using less expensive brushes, such as drugstore brushes or a kit from aliexpress/ebay/wish... It would be amazing to see that kind of video :)
Thank you so much! Great information. Would you please do a review of Zoeva brushes specifically, which sets would be good all around. Would you recommend to buy a Zoeva set or any other set, or better to get brushes from different companies? Thanks so much again!!!
Hi Andrea, thank you for this video! It’s the most honest video I’ve seen in a while 😍 Would you know where is the best place to purchase Hakuhodo brushes in Europe? Thank you x
Hi Andreea! i recently just got Becca's mineral blush in the shade songbird and it's SO beautiful I am recommending it to you! the quality is good and I feel like it will look good on you! love to see it in your tutorials! :)
Andreeeeeea you must try the MAC 217S brush! i think its a blending brush but i use it to apply light/base eyeshadow, its amazinggggg, it replaced my all time favourite (urban decay flat eyeshadow brush) now.
