Bruh... The way Raiden shows a hint of respect when talking about Venti and how Venti falshbacked the time he met Raiden Shogun reminds how powerful Venti really is. I know that at the present, he is the weakest among The Seven. But the way he acts carefree and easy-going when he is considered a literal God resembles a lot of anime you know. Like he is the carefree guy who gets along with everyone, sometimes pushing themselves and their personalities towards introverts and their juniors but totally smashes you down when getting serious. It's like Raiden back then was just a freshman and Venti is one of the elites who always smile but is actually badass.

@@rodrigolivsan He is the weakest among the seven, it's mentioned in the wiki. An Archon's power is directly proportional to how he commands his region... and as venti refuses to rule over Monstadt; he's the weakest. I'd say the Cryo archon is the most powerful based on her control over her empire.

His name is Shouta, and he is praying to Raiden to cancel his school tests, and to do that he is offering sweets becaus he had heard that Raiden likes them.
@@ritiktwopointo2691 It's a daily commission, a kid that goes by the name "Shouta" commissions the Adventurer's Guild to help him with shrine offerings to cancel his tests. You can find him at the shrine by the stairs near Katheryne.
As for the voicelines, the Shogun's voicelines are taken from the beta, a leak if you must.

The original Seven Archons (Zhongli and Venti included) used to gather in Liyue and drink together. They were the ones who shared the memory of Osmantheus wine.

@@crcker3841 It's a journey to find our siblings tho. While Traveler will grow in power over the time, that's not really what the journey was for. Also It'd be kinda cool to see these archons work as a team.
That probably won't be the case as the cryo archon already has her own goal. She wants to fight the celestia (the god who grants godhood to vision users that turns them into archons)
Interesting that Baal seemingly was referred to as a "Kagemusha" in years prior. Considering the term refers to a political decoy, a shadow warrior intended to serve as a decoy for the actual daimyo.
on reddit, there was a question of why there is almost no information about the first electro archon and Baal seem to have rule inazuma since beginning. I give my own theory on that, i speculate that she was indeed with inazuma from the beginning and was by the first electro archon side, i think the first electro archon was not really a fighter(similar to Venti) so she will need someone to fight for her(like the adepti fight for Zhongli) and that person was Baal. Baal may become like a public figure for the first electro archon to the people of inazuma and eventually Baal become the electro archon herself. Some agree with me, some don't but the voiceline here really give me better hint on that theory
This may be a reference to her constellation “Imperatrix umbrosia” or translated as “empress shadow”.

Interestingly Venti's freedom doesn't mesh well with our other 2 Archons so far. Contracts are rigid and eternity means to maintain a single state for an infinite amount of time, so freedom is likely to change the state of things. With wisdom, justice, war and love remaining, I wonder if there's an Archon which empathizes with Venti's freedom.
Maybe tsaritsa used to sympathise with venti If I am not wrong I also remember tsaritsa and venti were also great friends before the destruction of khaenriah

Morax is Venti's best friend, though. Maybe their ideals are not compatible, but that is nothing important for neither of them.
Also, I think the God of Wisdom will sympathize with Venti. He'll probably see something in Freedom that others wouldn't, given his ideal of Wisdom.

Venti knows everyone's weaknesses, yet I find he's not the type to use it unless absolutely needed. These aren't truly weaknesses, but what the individual views as a fault, but he'd smile as he sends it as a gift.

I thought when Venti talks about weaknesses, he talks about something that painfully reminds an Archon of their past. Venti who claims himself to be the weakest of 7 may turn out to be the strongest of the 7. He seems to know all the archons way too well and it shows through his dialogue about Zhongli, Murata and now Baal. If he knows the archons to the tip of his finger, then someone who knows their information may target Venti as he knows about the archons the most, or target him last as it may create a strong emotional turmoil towards him.
A little fact: kagemusha or 影武者 translated as “shadow warrior” or “a person behind the scene”. Kagemusha is a story of a lower class samurai who has to impersonate a daimyo. It’s kinda a political decoy or sth. Since Baal used to be a kagemusha, maybe she used to work for someone else?

Depends how well she knows the Dendro Archon, if not, we’d prolly get a few info about the place instead, and leave the rest to Cyno whom we’re likely to meet in the early acts. But just my speculation nonetheless.

i would love to see an archon quest with all the archons chilling and discovering that aether/ lumine will live for a lot of time just before the final battle occurs. At least venti, zhongli and baal would defend us with everything they hve knowing that they can have an eternal friend to be with them when everything is over.

NGL I was expecting a rare serious moment from Venti, talking about how much he despises tyrants and how Baal did so many things in the same way as Decarabian. Could have been really interesting to have that contrast with every other one of his voicelines
Hmm it is because what baal doing now is not even close with decarabian. Her people love their shogun and she is not tyrant over her people, she just have an ideology about how vision affects her eternity. Not like decarabian tyranny towards their people. Imo

From the character trailer for Baal she has lost all her friends, from the voice over that had been officially shown she basically telling the traveler that she want to to travel with them but in tsundere manner, from this leak Zhong li who want to move forward is interested in Baal's "eternity", and from Venti we learned how young Baal act and how now that she travel with us she kinda reverted back to it by how she wants to spar with us.
I believe this also the reason why she tried to make scharamouch.
Perhaps what Baal wanted is an eternal bond, a friend who will stay with her, thus she make someone of her own calibers but to no avail.

If only Genshin allowed party members to free roam on the field simultaneously like Final Fantasy 7 remake where the characters in the group talk to eachother. I really really wish they would just add the a.i. to do this. Exploring with your favorite characters and seeing them near eachother and interacting would be the coolest thing ever!

@@shizutanako5553 But the serenity pot isn't the same as what I'm saying. I'm talking about actually free roaming around and fighting alongside a.i. controlled party members. It adds so much more logic/depth/realism to the game because for some reason when we switch characters our characters dissapear and reappear and none of them actually fight with eachother because of this. This makes the game feel very "mobile game" like for me. Aside from that I was thinking if we have close lore related characters, if you go idle, they should be able to say a back n forth dialogue to eachother like Mortal Kombat. For example Zhongli and Baal say something to eachother, Chongyun and Xingqiu etc etc all while free roaming in the world exactly how they do it in God of War 4 or Final Fantasy 7 remake.

yes, raiden shogun is a “puppet”/clone that only has enough of her own consciousness to enact ei’s will to pursue eternity. ei has multiple raiden shogun spare bodies that she can use, and she created the clones in order to escape erosion after her twin sister and friends died during the cataclysm
@@lg7855 Do you know anything about Scaramouche? Can you confirm whether he is a clone like Raiden Shogun? From what I remember, in some lines about an artifact that talks about Scaramouche, they say that he is incredibly beautiful, that even god's won't match to it. The eminence and nobless can be compared to Baal's quotes. He seems to be a failed "clone". It is said that he is rejected multiple times before joining the Fatui. Scaramouche seems to be in a state where he shouldn't be awake. Moreover, he is able to interact with meteorites without any problem, as if he had been in a dream where he shouldn't wake up but found a way to break out of this dream (it could be the reason why he claims that the sky is fake). He also talks about what eternity can do in trailer 2.1. The VAs said that in the end of the chapter, we'll know about Scaramouche's origins.

baal has been around since the archon war. she ei and her twin sister makoto both won the title as the electro archon, with ei enacting as the public figure for the electro archon and makoto as the one pursuing the role in private means. with the cataclysm destroying some of ei’s friends and also her sister makoto, ei had to replace her sister as the new electro archon. to avoid erosion caused by the cataclysm, ei created clones (scaramouche and the raiden shogun) to act as her living body with her as their consciousness. when the time comes the raiden shogun can no longer exist, ei will create several more clones to pursue eternity. while baal does have ei as her separate consciousness, she still has a mind of her own and a separate personality.

Morax was alive and used to show himself one time every year for the public and even some people would question his autority like Keqing, Baal is alive and ruling Inazuma every day and the people from Sangonmya are in a civil war against her. Venti doesnt show himself for Monsdtath since fucking 500 years and even acctual citzen from Monsdtath pray for him, and even a single citzen of Monsd was showed questionings his autority. The other gods make their rules as a king or emperor, Venti is literaly the principal piece for a entire religion. That is defintly something to thing about, his title isnt "god of wind, freedom and TIME" for nothing
