I really appreciate u, u have helped me as an electrician to understand more about automation industrial engineering, long live, god bless you, iwill let my son studying begin to follow ur lectures on line, thxu Best regards
You are very nice guy who explains simply and accurately. The problem is this industrial electrics that there are too many arrogant and bully engineers there who purposely confuse you and let you down. If I had more people like you, my studies could have been less painful. Thanks!
Good explanation but you said in this circuit star contactor should energize first before main contactor. Qn why star first while the motor will not start if both main and star are not energized.
He just explain the logic here. If you see it properly, I think you'll see, the main idea here is the ADDRESS. The contact that the main rely on relies on the address of the star coil, so star has to come ON first followed by the main, bear in mind that that happens in short space of time (as he mentioned, by the blink of an eye), so if the motor relies on the main, then the motor won't start if star coil is OFF or not energized. This is the result of main not being energized, hence causes the motor to remain OFF.
Great job brother....but just a suggestion...why not use the auxiliary contact (NO) of the delta contactor to keep the main contactor energised when the star connection time elapses..... because using the auxiliary contact of the main contactor mean when the start push button is pressed the main contact also start immediately....
mr sir there is no reason to interlock the main contactor. the main and the star come in together at the same time. lets assume we are using pneumatic timer that means it should be coupled with the main contactor..maybe u can add a hold in for delta and disconnects the timer from the by adding normallt ope interlock for delta on timer circuit.
Thanks David, during demonstration,u said this goes here , and that goes there, especially energizing the main contactor, there are terminal, there marked 13 ,22 and 14: and 21 so which one do mean inside nor out, please clarify by naming the terminal nos and either no or nc
Thanks brother for the video. It's good. Point of injection: Use the main contactor NO across the start pb switch so it serves as the master switch; It will stop entire control network if the Stop Pb switch is pressed. The main contactor should work with both the star and delta contactor. The main contactor should control the timer coil from the action of its NO Auxiliary contact. It's the timer's duty to switch between the Star and Delta contactors with its NC and NO contacts respectively with the set time.
Hi. Thanks for the video. One question: Why the NO of the timer is needed before delta contactor. Delta contactor will energize without the timer NO being there.

How long are timer set before the Delta get enrgized which are going to be brought in by the timer coil...because the minute you leave the start button ,the circuit will be de-energized,start wont be retained because the main contactor dont have power yet ....meaning the entire circuit will fall out again...star en timer
My question is star Auxiliary is closed or open? that's what am not getting....in the explanation u Said it's closed but in the diagram it's open so.....
Plus is the power being supplied through the main contactor or from where is the power coming from since on the main there is no where it's indicated as to where the power is coming from to the main contactor ?
That s a bit complicated! What s happend if you don t have a star delta time relay? And you use to many NO aux contact from main contactor! I hawe one diagram much simple and wich never fail!
Remove normal open on the main that can make your circuit simple main and star can start together you just confused lot of people but pose uncessary normal open on Main
I did a practical video for this topic, however, some viewers requested more clarification on the circuit diagram.................. here is the practical video ruclips.net/video/we7MxJ0fjDM/видео.html Thanks for watching.
Bro! My question is when push button pressed the phase will pass to Timer and start to count as as main contact make the also pass to normal close of timer and pass to Auxiliary contact of delta contact then to A1 of start contact, I'm confused to this Auxiliary contact which will put above the contact start since we use the NC aux when pass phase make and become open while holded to cont start why still make because NO means phase will blocked via to star contact ???
Timer protection these days is recommended coz the timers in market are week ,let the timer be switched from NC delta and on the timer switch NO put a hold cct from no delta
Put NC for delta to switch timer ,then put hold on contact on timer NO to switch delta this will help timer to be always off when motor is running on delta contact
The main contactor help to hold the circuit that's why we use push button to make the circuit more safe to operate and reliable, if you remove main contactor then you have to use a switch(not push button) which will keep the timer permanently on during operation. As long as the timer is on, circuit will remain running.
Brother thank you for your video. But i have a qsn about the second Main auxilliary you have introduced down there. Can you just make a loop wire from Main auxilliary and bring down and bypass it,and connect at the second terminal of STAR AUXILLIARY BLOCK?
That circuit i drew on the board is CONTROL CIRCUIT for star delta stater, unless you need a power circuit. you can find it here electrecasolutions.com/understanding-star-delta-starter/
The timer I used it Normally closed, so it has to be and remain energised to hold the Delta contactor on. If the timer coil de-energise then delta will lose power. What do you think?

You are a nice teacher Sir. You have helped me understand this circuit.Keep it up.
I love this channel now,I found it today and am really grateful🎉🎉good work mwalimu, came here after not understanding in class😅
Good job bro, but main and the star contactor comes in at the same time.
Good
But that's not how it's supposed to be, it's Star fast then mains.thanks
Great
you are very nice brother.very easy explain to understand us.thank you so much.
Thanks Sir, today you made my day well presented video I did understand every single word you spoken
Glad to hear that and Thanks for watching

Hi , I like your video. Thanks

You explained very well come up with practical. and I request you to repeat on forward and reverse especially on the indicators that is my big problem
No problem I'll do that
How long are timer set before the Delta get enrgized which are going to be brought in by the timer coil...because the minute you leave the start button ,the circuit will be de-energized,start wont be retained because the main contactor dont have power yet ....meaning the entire circuit will fall out again...star en timer

Thanks sir kindly produce for me ,star delta starter reverse forward wiring diagram
Nice one
This is very nice
I was really getting the mode of operation, but got confused about the illustration on main contact connection after the star disengage
Great explanation indeed
great keep going sir
Thank you, I will
How much is one contactor and a time? I need them for my practicals
How can someone solarize the induction motor especially the star delta ones?
Which inverter?
Good Engineer
What wil happen if a main contactor energised before the star and the star pulls in after?
You mean maincontactor Will consist Three auxiliary which is normal open?
Good stuff man
Thanks very much
You are welcome
Thank you
You're welcome

Good job bro please my question is how can you wire it involving emergency push button
you can wire you Emagency buuton circuit beaker and Overload relay. thanks for watching
Remove normal open on the main that can make your circuit simple main and star can start together you just confused lot of people but pose uncessary normal open on Main
How can you put an isolation switch in this wiring ?
What is the purpose of the star Auxiliary contact on the main contactor sir
Hi
what will be happening if main contact and star contact at a time start
Good work , congrats.. But sorry we need pratical if possible . God help you

Hi.... can i find a video on how to install a 3phase submersible pump
Can you tell how it switches from high voltage to low?
In this star delta connection after few seconds circuit will change star to delta in this time main contact in on position here any happend?
Does it also apply to transformers
Thanks!
Sir very interesting but can you change your colour of marker? Your writing not clear for star, delta wiring
Bro! sir, why did you use that H switch, i couldn't quite catch that. My point is that if there is main auxiliary, what is the reason for using H switch?
The H aux is to hold the timer and the m contact is to hold the main contactor
Timer protection these days is recommended coz the timers in market are week ,let the timer be switched from NC delta and on the timer switch NO put a hold cct from no delta
Put NC for delta to switch timer ,then put hold on contact on timer NO to switch delta this will help timer to be always off when motor is running on delta contact
Why do we need the main contactor in our circuit. Is the circuit not gonna work if removed?
The main contactor help to hold the circuit that's why we use push button to make the circuit more safe to operate and reliable, if you remove main contactor then you have to use a switch(not push button) which will keep the timer permanently on during operation.
As long as the timer is on, circuit will remain running.
Can you pls show me how do star delta foward reverse with four magnetic Contactor and one timmer
Kindly am asking if you can assist me with the traffic light circuit diagram
it's better you could write the tarminal number of those devices so that some of us could be easy to know after what goes to number what thank you.
That star oxilary is it 13-14 on Star
KEEP IT ACHARD ABACK
Eng.what is the diffrence between delta connection and dol
Brother thank you for your video. But i have a qsn about the second Main auxilliary you have introduced down there. Can you just make a loop wire from Main auxilliary and bring down and bypass it,and connect at the second terminal of STAR AUXILLIARY BLOCK?
If you do that the Main contactor will engage before the Star, yet our primary goal is the Star to engage First
Bro.now it's clear now after i followed your video and demonstration
Teacher thanks for video 🙏....but sir if possible I need circuit connection please
That circuit i drew on the board is CONTROL CIRCUIT for star delta stater, unless you need a power circuit. you can find it here electrecasolutions.com/understanding-star-delta-starter/
Thanks Teacher
They gave us please but he can do it again
Bro , I request u to take us through motor winding
Pls. Can you do a video on electric motor rewinding
We have circuits that put in the main and star at the same time is it wrong ? If yes tell me why?
Do you deal with only 33kv or even the single phase
Main and star closes at the same time
please do me that of float switch+ bladder tank switch+contactor+selector switch
please add temperature sensors on your circuits as well as use of vfds
also add just morethan one timer on your circuits
Good. But I think it will be nice if the timer coil can be de-energize after switching to delta
The timer I used it Normally closed, so it has to be and remain energised to hold the Delta contactor on. If the timer coil de-energise then delta will lose power.
What do you think?
hello David. can you pls do a video on how to connect a 3phase ats signal cable to amf25 pls
Will plan, thanks for watching
Excelente profissional
which of the connection is that'
Kindly ask your question again.
so a star and a mean work like a duble mcb
