There's something amazing about his vocals at 2:29 and it's one of my favorite parts in this remix (ノ・∀・)ノ I love Take Control's melody too though, it's nice to hear that melody again.

The thing about sharax's songs is the fact that it really brings out the truth of undertale. The lyrics, the songs in general and the art that she picks out shows how sad the world of undertale is. A virtually innocent species sealed underground for all eternity. The fact how when 2 brothers are separated, nothing is the same.

Im so happy that you make undertale remixes. It saddens me to see very little attention to this game. I realize that it has already come and gone, however to me the game was much more than that. It felt like an actual world that you would be disrupting. The way that it messes with save files and forcibly closes itself when it comes to the right moment, is just absolutely astonishing. The fact that this game was made by a 27 (somewhere around that age) year-old makes it even more astonishing. This game is and always be my favorite game to ever exist in my lifetime.

When I play the game I immerse myself pretty deep into it so this song does reflect my guilt when I kill in the game, but I think it’s important to feel sorrow and learn from it to become a better person. That is the reason I like this song.

Aight so most of yall already know that Tokyovania does NOT belong to Ink Sans and never did. I came from the latest remix of Tokyovania, Serenity and i also revisited Sharax's tumblr post about Tokyovania and i im gonna paste down some of the things she said. The reason why people think the song belonged to Ink is because it all started with someone making a tribute to Ink. And here's what Sharax said about it:
*"Originally, this video was meant to be a tribute, with my track as the proposed theme, and I didn’t worry about it. After all, I didn’t write Tokyovania for Ink Sans, I wrote it for personal reasons, and I was sure most would understand that."*
Notice how Sharax said she DIDN'T WRITE Tokyovania for Ink, but she wrote it for PERSONAL REASONS.
She was so hurt that people were accusing her for "stealing Ink's theme", when in reality she was the original creator of the song. And she decided to create Tokyovania Control as a way of responding to what those people:
*"It feels like a inconceivable back-stab knowing that literally millions believe this is his theme. I don’t even want to know how many would believe I stole the track from an OC, as if an actual artist doesn’t exist and the track magically created itself. Months went by, then a year went by, and I was very bitter about this track and the accusations I kept receiving. Finally I decided to write a response, and this response was “Tokyovania Control.”"*
*"I wrote in the description that I didn’t like the old Tokyovania. This is only partially true. I loved it for what it represented to me, I hated it for how I was being treated because of it."*
She also stated that the additional lyrics she added to Tokyovania Control contained hidden meanings in them, and that hidden meaning was how she felt. And here's what she said:
*"If you may have noticed, I included new lyrics for Tokyovania Control. It was a slightly hidden, but direct message to how I felt, and it started at **0:53**. Breakdown of the meaning is in the brackets."*
*How’d I get this feeling? [How’d it come to this?]*
*I am running from this beauty, [I am running from Tokyovania.]*
*Misunderstood or [It’s been misunderstood what the track is about.]*
*Whom it’s made for? [Who was the track made for? Even I’m not sure now.]*
*There’s no purpose, [The song has lost its original meaning.]*
*Words are worthless. [Explaining/arguing won’t do anything.]*
*Well, it’s still charming. [I still adore the track though. It was special to me.]*
*I’d say “Sorry.” [Sorry, it was my mistake to let harsh words harm me.]*
*“My mistake to let it harm me.” “Pardon my writing.” [Pardon my music, I’m sorry I got in your way, I should be thankful that this track is loved right? Indeed I am selfish for believing my name should be next to Tokyovania.]*
*Though it hurts, it still sounds special taken from me,*
*“Heh, oh well.” [Though it hurts, Tokyovania still sounds special taken from me. There’s nothing I can do now, so oh well.]*
*"It was hidden well, and I didn’t expect anyone to catch on. And I was right, no one figured out why these lyrics were added or what they meant."*

Holy damn, those lyrics hit pretty deep. As an Undertale long-time veteran who's been recently browsing through some of the big things that made Undertale's fandom what it is today including SharaX's remixes, I feel reassured now that I still remember Tokyovania isn't just for Ink lol.
EDIT: In fact, it was never meant to be for InkSans in the first place lol. There's an actual Megalovania for InkSans I discovered somewhere (of course it's a Megalovania remix), but somehow the fandom just decided to tie the ribbons already. Right now I've been thinking of ideas for a new InkSans theme that is an original composition and represents Ink better.
@@cyonofgaia I've actually heard about some Megalovania remixes that were specifically made for Ink, but i cant put my finger on where I've seen or heard them anymore since it's already been years since i last heard the remix
I do kinda remember the remixes sounding way more upbeat and "artistic" in a way that represents Ink since he's pretty much an artist himself with his huge paintbrush and the vials on his sash thing(even though he just has the vials as artificial emotions, it's still interesting that it's designed to look like paint tubes)
The ones who made up their minds in deciding that Tokyovania is Ink's theme clearly don't/didn't know it was a remix of Megalovania and Tokyo Teddy Bear, but i really don't see how or why they decided this specific remix to be his theme. Yes, there was that Ink tribute video which had Tokyovania as the background music, but i don't really see that as their reason or "proof" of the remix being made for Ink
Keep it up SharaX, please continue doing this kind of music and undertale remixes, I really appreciate your work and love your music.
