Hi, I am so glad I sent my Pfaff sewing machine a while ago and you really fixed my machine pretty good because I don't have any problems with it. You really know your subject very thoroughly and for that I am very thankful and appreciative. Now I have a Necchi 523 and I wonder if you could take a look and service this sewing machine? Could you answer through here? I am in VA. Thank you so very much. Eva
i just rebuilt my pfaff motor and got to thinking... couldnt you just use the stator/rotor from a different motor like a chinese etc instead of machining it? i imagine you could retrofit a new motor into the pfaff but the housing and mounting screws wouldnt match bat im guessing the stator will? would be interesting to now for other motor repairs from different brands etc
I have a pfaff creative 1475CD I can’t stop the needle from going up and down while winding the bobbin even after turning the hand wheel. Can you tell me what I can do?
Before i watched your first video, I called a repair center and asked if they would have a battery for my 1471 Creative purchased in about 1988. They said they probably couldn't get the part for a machine that old. Then I watched your #1 video and found out it required 2 AA batteries. Two minutes later, I was back in business! Thank you for posting these videos. I don't think I'll try to rebuild my motor! Where are you located, by the way?
Wondering where are you located. My pfaff still works great. I just noticed that I cannot get the pressure foot to stay down with pressure. I have the triptronic 1171.
I have a 1371 and was told the motor is failing and causing a high pitch noise. Is this something that can be rebuilt? I know replacement motors are no longer available. And if so, can I send you just the motor for the rebuild and reinstall it myself?
Great! this is helpful. Thank you and greets from Germany
Kia Ora Glen from New Zealand. Thank you for your videos. I have a 1475 CD. I learned a lot. Thank you.
