I'd love these animal packs, especially because if combined, Latin American and Pacific Southwest ones, they would represent somehow Mexico's great biodiversity.
No one knows what the next pack is, but I do know that these animals that they are choosing are hard to rig with hard textures. Barnyard pack was just a pack with reused rigs and good looking textures. But its appealing to those wanting to build a more realistic zoo. This means that they were too busy making June-July pack. Which I think will be really good.
If the next one is the last one a "Zookeeper Collection Pack" is probably the most likely, mirroring what JWE2 did. They start every post with "Hey park managers!" and we get the Park Managers Collection pack in JWE2, what does PZ always call us? "Hayo Zookeepers!" Plus its a great way to grab the last few essentials in one pack. Taking into account how frontiers picks usually a mix of popular and random species and given the theme is based around popular zoo animals, I would say a semi-realistic roster for a keeper collection pack would be: Hamadryas Baboon (headliner), Howler Monkey, Serval, Patagonian Mara, Greater Rhea, Great White Pelican, Honey Badger and the King Cobra in the exhibit.
I too am predicting that the DLC after the Barnyard pack is the Latin America pack but when comes to my version of the Latin America pack, it will have animals that will represent the different areas and habitats of the continent. My lineup for the Latin America pack is Andean bear (Andes), Brazilian tapir (Amazon rainforest and wetlands), Carribbean flamingo (Carribbean), Geoffroy's spider monkey (Central America), Humboldt penguin (coasts), Patagonian mara (Patagonia and plains), ring-tailed coati (South American forests), blue-headed macaw, blue-throated macaw, great green macaw, scarlet macaw and Spix's macaw. I decided to mainly go for the lesser known choices for the macaws since when it came to the butterflies, with the exception of the monarch, the grasslands pack didn't go for the most obvious choices of lepidopterans for a zoo game. So I think just like with the butterflies with the exception of the scarlet macaw, I think Planet Zoo is mainly going to have less obvious choices of macaws.

I feel like some sort of Neotropical/SA Animal Pack is nailed on with an almost untouchable roster of (as you said): - Ring-Tailed Coati - Spectacled Bear - Black Howler - Geoffroy’s Spider Monkey - Ocelot - Greater Rhea - Patagonian Mara These are the top 7 SA species on the wishlist excluding the golden lion tamarin (which is below the two aforementioned primates). The only three species I could see throwing a spanner in the works are the Southern Tamandua, common squirrel monkey and the Bush Dog - but both are much further down the wishlist. The only slight gripe I have with this roster (although I’d still be happy with it) is it doesn’t overly expand on being able to build tropical/amazon houses. Loads of zoos have tropical houses with South American species like Linnaeus’ Two-Toed Sloth, Common Marmosets, Cotton-Top Tamarins, Golden Lion Tamarins, Emperor Tamarins, Coppery Titis, White-Faced Sakis, Red-Footed Tortoises, Common Squirrel Monkeys, Azara’s agoutis, southern tamanduas and various birds like scarlet ibis and black-necked stilts, smaller parrots and songbirds. The South America Pack only really gave us the capuchin and wetlands and aquatic gave us two small caimans for this and since then nearly all South American species (llama, alpaca, maned wolf, giant anteater, capybara etc.) have been larger/paddock-style South American species. Given the frontrunners for a new Neotropical pack all seem to really do this as well (bar maybe the black howler) - I see us getting a dedicated South American animal pack and still being unable to build walkthrough Amazon houses!
I guess that's just the thing of South America being such a diverse continent that we can never truly get a substantial amount of animals to represent its biodiversity

I ask this mostly in response to the timber wolf in that based on it’s scientific name should be called the Gray (or Grey) Wolf as timber wolf is a separate species (possibly since its taxonomy history is very confusing which is another reason for change) not even a subspecies (I could request further changes such as specifying the subspecies as being the Eurasian Grey Wolf aka Canis Lupus Lupus to keep in line with the Arctic Wolf)
Yes updating the names would be a good idea. Like having the West African Lion be generalised to just African Lion, or Timber Wolf to perhaps just Grey Wolf, and Formosan Black Bear to Asiatic Black Bear. But it would be nice to have that cleared up.

So that way that I assumed this DLC's the last Summer 2024 DLC, before there were two last DLCs for 2024, including the last anniversary animal. Anyways, as I made a roster: PZ: USA DLC features the futuristic USA themes, including the Pacific Tribal, and Wild West themes, as well as new foliage, like lodgepole pine trees, common juniper trees, Oregon oak trees, blueberry bushes, blackberry bushes, and evergreen huckleberry bushes, 4 habitat animals, are the Coyote, the American Blackbear, the Mountain Cottontail Rabbit, and the White-tailed Brocket, and an extinct-in-the-wild exhibit animal, the Wyoming Toad. The last Autumn 2024 DLC, as PZ: Alpine DLC, features the Andean and Russian Themes, new foliage like Norfolk Island Pine, Stone Pine, White Spruce, Arctic Willow, Bluebell flowers, Mountain Ash, and Hairy Birch tree, 4 habitat animals, are the Muskox, Walrus, Andean Short-faced Bear, and Guanaco, and 1 exhibit animal, as the Japanese Tiger Keelback Snake. macaws are a great choice, i just think that if the last dlc will be flying birds representing all previous dlcs, it's likely macaws will be in that but having them early might be even better

Well cuscus are not primates, they're actually marsupials, but slow loris or tarsier would be cool, even though tarsiers are quite difficult to keep in captivity

Well, we're certainly not going to get an orca, unlikely to get a leafy sea dragon, but many of those other animals would certainly fit in one just fine
I don't think Planet Zoo needs dinosaurs, but a creative way to bring back recently extinct animals that we have substantial genetic material of would be better, animals like the Thylacine or some Pleistocene life, other than that, we have games like JWE1 and 2 and Prehistoric Kingdom to put the extinct species in a zoo setting.

maybe if bigger exhibits get added in the latin america dlc, green anaconda would be likely to get added as the exhibit animal
