I had my radiator crack in June of 2021, in Green River. I was moving from Oregon to Texas. It wasn't a fun time, but a family from there came along side me and helped me get back up and running again. I will always be grateful to the hospitality of those people. God bless Warren and his family.

I am 51 years old and that is the town I grew up partially in and boy a lot hasn't changed but then again a lot has. I remember being too small to look over the railing of the railroad bridge to watch the trains below. About three four blocks away is Expedition Island and just outside that is where the fire department used to ice over a patch to go ice skating in the winter.

When you are looking at that terrain it's hard to believe all that was carved out by a massive river.

George Montgomery. Not just a river... At one time it was all just about under water.. it was a upper sea.. I had found a peterfied clam shell out at one of the fingers across from the Buckboard Marina ...back in 1973 the same year my mother Gladys Ball and Brother Kenneth Ball aka Ken moved down to be with dad Jim Ball aka as Jimbo or weekend Jim the same one whom had caught a record in The Gorge and as well won the Pearl Handle Pistol at the Ponderosa Bar .. whom was 1 year in to living in Green River.
How would a clam of been there had not a sea been there....? At one time the whole place was so much different than just a river... The railroad cut out by Jamestown held fossils of such fish that had to been a mud slide during some other big event that happened so many thousands of years ago...
Its part of why it say Welcome to Wonderful Wyoming..on the signs so FULL OF WONDER...

Any remember the old building over the river via the rail tracks where the Hobos would camp when they rode thru. Seen one when he was drinking out of a okd milk carton in the alley where we lived once... Poor guys then had no soup kitchens in Green River.Oh it made my stomach curn a few curddles out...
