@@richduperbash2966 hey rich , im still waiting for infraction im 2nd on list at lhs quick question i chewed up ring gear on v4 i added bearing shim last night i took diff out another arrma ran one pack on soccer field the new rubber pellet ones it was awesome btw no clean up after lol i think i heard a click again when i came home put new battery that has more punch should i be changing input gear at same time its hard to tell if output gear is worn but when i get home if take out again ik for sure otherwise i chewed back one now i think i have to do as a set this point i didnt look at back one possibly wore those down too im going take all 3 out do over get home im still paying for this sucker so frustrating ik i should do both as sets at this point if i find back ones worn too have you had them click internally ? Just ring and outputs right? Ik you broke one on sons typhon but you crashed too no way im harder than you on these things so idk i hope tower throw me couple being i have a running open arrma account lol

@@paulclancy2404 thanks so much Paul 😊!!!! Sorry I missed your messages 👀. Diff issues can be frustrating. The bearing shims definitely help keep the input and crown gears from slipping. It's generally best to replace them together, but I've mixed new and used several times if the teeth are still good 👍. Make sure to closely inspect your bearings and diff cases when you strip a gear. I've found a bad bearing or cracked case to be the culprit several times. I'd try to use smooth throttle/reverse regardless of punch setting and limit standing backflips if you do them. May consider running lighter wheels if you keep having issues. 🍻👍👍😎💪👊👊

Great first run Rich👍👍Loved the camera angle on the truck. Looks like you almost got a leg there at least once. I had to pause the video a few times so that my old eyes could regain focus.😁What aI really liked is that you DID NOT get hung up on the whole doughnut/burn out/tire smoke thing. That looks cool for about 15 seconds and what a waste of a good set of tires. Can't wait to see what the Duper comes up with next👍👍

Definitely wasn't planning on smacking curbs 😱 or sending it tumbling, but realize now just how fast it winds up and covers ground 👀. It was a humbling experience 🤣🤣. The splitter screws came loose (2 popped out) on the curb and I replaced all 5 with longer Savox servo screws👍. I'm impressed all around with this Beast 👀. The engineering is friggin NUTS 🤯. It honestly doesn't "need" anything. Just going to tune up the diffs a bit. 🍻🤘🤘😎💪👊👊

🗣️📢📢 Wow Rich, this was such a good show of this machine, real bashing, and what I also noticed was that u had no heat issues during that time, was that because those batteries had all the juice the esc could need🤔, that was the best part, no thermo, or sky high temps to speak of,👌🏿, 1 of those near passes almost had u needing a replacement acchiles tendon, of those stacks, would have had a lesser put togethers owners hands srt8 back in their pockets, thanks greatly for taking all those hits for us viewing much appreciated would be an understament 👊🏿💯

I don't even say Traxxas any more. Arrma is just pushing and pushing the boundaries of what these machines can do. Arrma Tough is taking on a whole new meaning. The Infraction has won my heart, I must have this beast. I really had my heart set on the Kraton, not anymore. You know I'm 57, I fly my plane and I have some serious money tied up in my Drones but this absolutely gets my motor going. I love speed and I love RC Cars. The faster the better. I'm calling the hobby store later today and getting this beast ordered. I just hope the wife doesn't kill me! I think next to my Talion this is the best Arrma yet. Horizon is just awesome they let this company really go after Traxxas and I'm all about it.

That was awesome. The drifting is sweet, at the end when you were drifting around and you were walking in a circle that was cool. I love the Infraction and the Limitless I hope Arrma sends you one and do a video.😁 Please!!!! I finished building my dragster Typhon right when they came out. Kinda buming about it, but any Arrma with stock electronics and some tall gearing are absolutely sick to drive. I have yet to get it full throttle. Ive already hit 71mph hardly squeezing the throttle. And you do have to pay attention!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘👍👍👍👍 Looking forward to your next vid!!!!

That was one of the scariest video's I've watched, I kept thinking you were going to hit yourself. The fpv really gives you an idea of the speed of this thing, it covers some ground really quickly. I can definitely see how you got into trouble running out of space. Great camera angles and entertaining video. I wonder how this will be long term, do you feel like it offers enough to keep you going back time after time? I guess it gives an alternative and good when the off road tracks are wet. I'm hoping to find more suitable dirt spots 😍!!!! The long low design and splitter does limit what it can reasonably do with jumps...etc. It's possible to modify the ground clearance, but that takes from its blazing speed as well. 🤔🍻😎💪👊👊

I don't hear any beep with these BLX185 ESCs on start-up. Not sure what issues you're having, but recalibrating the ESC to controller under throttle set-up is always a good idea. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Follow up question, do you think the 2050kv stock Arrma is just too small to push a vehicle that size? I've heard a lot of overheating issues, 3 min runs, and so on.
I'm not sure that's the case to be honest 🤔. I cut out some video cuz it was simply too long. Took temps 3 times and they were fine. ESC 130 tops, finished at 115F. Motor was 150-160 tops. I think guys doing constant burnouts and doughnuts in higher temps may have airflow issues with this body in hot temperatures. The rig isn't any heavier than an Outcast/Kraton and has less wheel roll resistance. The electronics having plenty of power/speed with the stock 18T👀. In a nutshell, body venting and throttle management is probably all that is truly needed IMO. 🍻😎💪👊👊

I haven't tried it yet 👀. Wanted to speed check and do other tests with stock 18T first, but my GPS didn't stay charged 😝🤣🤣. I know it will do 80-85mph no problem with the 27T👍. Putting a new vid together sampling different tires and hitting a vert skatepark 😱. This rig is Crazy fast and super tough. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Thanks so much Brother 👊!!!! I kept the AVC off the entire time and it felt fine 👍. That blacktop is quite slick, but the truck corrected great and felt very stable. Think it'll just take practice. The longer wheelbase and drift timing is way different from my Talion and other 1/8 rigs 👀. The Infraction is ultra responsive and takes very subtle throttle adjustments. It's actually pretty challenging 🤣🤣. I wasn't going to hit myself but felt comfortable getting close. 🍻🤘🤘😎💪👊👊

I think the infraction looks cool and you can go at high speed ripping around but i can see myself and other people getting bored of it after a few runs with it and it seems really limited where you can use it
Yeah I'm not sure 🤔. I honestly never get bored of speed or Crazy performance😍. This rig is challenging enough that I don't see getting bored of it anytime soon. Just need the right spots to fully appreciate it. Any open space with reasonably flat ground will work though. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Definitely wasn't planning on smacking curbs 😱 or sending it tumbling, but realize now just how fast it winds up and covers ground 👀. It was a humbling experience 🤣🤣. The splitter screws came loose (2 popped out) on the curb and I replaced all 5 with longer Savox servo screws👍. I'm impressed all around with this Beast 👀. The engineering is friggin NUTS 🤯. It honestly doesn't "need" anything. Just going to tune up the diffs a bit. 🍻🤘🤘😎💪👊👊

🗣️📢📢 Wow Rich, this was such a good show of this machine, real bashing, and what I also noticed was that u had no heat issues during that time, was that because those batteries had all the juice the esc could need🤔, that was the best part, no thermo, or sky high temps to speak of,👌🏿, 1 of those near passes almost had u needing a replacement acchiles tendon, of those stacks, would have had a lesser put togethers owners hands srt8 back in their pockets, thanks greatly for taking all those hits for us viewing much appreciated would be an understament 👊🏿💯

I don't even say Traxxas any more. Arrma is just pushing and pushing the boundaries of what these machines can do. Arrma Tough is taking on a whole new meaning. The Infraction has won my heart, I must have this beast. I really had my heart set on the Kraton, not anymore. You know I'm 57, I fly my plane and I have some serious money tied up in my Drones but this absolutely gets my motor going. I love speed and I love RC Cars. The faster the better. I'm calling the hobby store later today and getting this beast ordered. I just hope the wife doesn't kill me! I think next to my Talion this is the best Arrma yet. Horizon is just awesome they let this company really go after Traxxas and I'm all about it.

That was awesome. The drifting is sweet, at the end when you were drifting around and you were walking in a circle that was cool. I love the Infraction and the Limitless I hope Arrma sends you one and do a video.😁 Please!!!! I finished building my dragster Typhon right when they came out. Kinda buming about it, but any Arrma with stock electronics and some tall gearing are absolutely sick to drive. I have yet to get it full throttle. That was one of the scariest video's I've watched, I kept thinking you were going to hit yourself. The fpv really gives you an idea of the speed of this thing, it covers some ground really quickly. I can definitely see how you got into trouble running out of space. Great camera angles and entertaining video. I wonder how this will be long term, do you feel like it offers enough to keep you going back time after time? I guess it gives an alternative and good when the off road tracks are wet. I'm hoping to find more suitable dirt spots 😍!!!! The long low design and splitter does limit what it can reasonably do with jumps...etc. It's possible to modify the ground clearance, but that takes from its blazing speed as well. 🤔🍻😎💪👊👊

They can send me something if they choose, but I typically tweak these rigs to my liking and drive them however I feel like. I just do what feels like fun and share my opinion about them. I'm a HUGE Arrma fan and believe in what they're doing. Wouldn't run their stuff if I didn't like it. They engineer things brilliantly and are a pleasure to wrench on and tune. 🍻🤘🤘😎💪👊👊

No doubt Ed🤣🤣😱!!!! The splitter seems ultra durable 👀. I did pop 2 of the screws off and loosened another. Replaced them with longer Savox servo mounting screws. The splitter can warp and be bent straight again without issue. They engineered the crap out of this thing 👍👍😎💪👊👊

I don't hear any beep with these BLX185 ESCs on start-up. Not sure what issues you're having, but recalibrating the ESC to controller under throttle set-up is always a good idea. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Follow up question, do you think the 2050kv stock Arrma is just too small to push a vehicle that size? I've heard a lot of overheating issues, 3 min runs, and so on.
I'm not sure that's the case to be honest 🤔. I cut out some video cuz it was simply too long. Took temps 3 times and they were fine. ESC 130 tops, finished at 115F. Motor was 150-160 tops. I think guys doing constant burnouts and doughnuts in higher temps may have airflow issues with this body in hot temperatures. The rig isn't any heavier than an Outcast/Kraton and has less wheel roll resistance. The electronics having plenty of power/speed with the stock 18T👀. In a nutshell, body venting and throttle management is probably all that is truly needed IMO. 🍻😎💪👊👊

I haven't tried it yet 👀. Wanted to speed check and do other tests with stock 18T first, but my GPS didn't stay charged 😝🤣🤣. I know it will do 80-85mph no problem with the 27T👍. I think the infraction looks cool and you can go at high speed ripping around but i can see myself and other people getting bored of it after a few runs with it and it seems really limited where you can use it
Yeah I'm not sure 🤔. I honestly never get bored of speed or Crazy performance😍. This rig is challenging enough that I don't see getting bored of it anytime soon. Just need the right spots to fully appreciate it. Any open space with reasonably flat ground will work though. 🍻😎💪👊👊
