SIM RACING v "SIMCADE" - Why are we FIGHTING over this?

Having spent several years playing "sim racing" games such as Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Dirt Rally 2.0, and, hehe, EA Sports WRC, and many many years before that playing Colin McRae Rally, Richard Burns Rally, Gran Turismo, Forza Motorsport, and Forza Horizon, I am confused as to why people so passionately attack random strangers on the internet over which one is the most realistic.
Here I am having some fun on a controller on my couch with Forza Horizon 5.
I don't understand why people fight so emotionally over this stuff. They're different games, aimed at different people, doing different things.
