This movie definitely felt longer than it needed to be but the action sequences are pretty EPIC and brutal asf especially in the first 15 minutes and the last 30-40 minutes. The story is whatever but its definitely worth a watch for the carnage IMO.
If you want another action film to watch from this year check out the Indian action film Kill (even though it says its from 2023). Its essentially Rambo on a Train but its great. Plenty of brutal action and only like 100 minutes or so without the credits.

I kept thinkin about Mortal Kombat as you talked about this one but I am conviced to give it a watch. It sounds brutal with good action.

Kill is in my top 5 favorites of this year. Glad I got to see it in theaters
