I had an ischemic stroke, and they never figured out why. That was very hard for me to deal with and accept. I wanted to know why so I could make lifestyle changes, but not knowing the cause was very frustrating for me. It took time and counseling for me to make peace with the not knowing, and move forward

A had a cavernoma. Stroke. Unfortunately very few people know what that is. It was in the left cerebellum another little known area. As this was a congenital condition I as a retired neuropsychologist I knew my lifestyle had nothing to do with it but as an avid walker, surfer, and kayaker I had to quit these. Took 6 months to learn how to walk. I also am a stage 4 prostate cancer survivor so if it’s not one thing it’s another. I’ve had a lot of time to watch utube videos. You are doing a good job. I appreciate you.
