After having two of these for 2+ years I have some 50 cents to share. First of the front fork have a very weak weld to the stem. Lift the rubber protection and you see. My son was riding when the thing came apart and the wheel folded it self under the scooter. He wasn't serious wounded but that was just a fluke. I have repaired that with strong welds on both sides of the metal. The front shocks is a joke, there is a plastic shim that the stem slides on and the fit is to tight. When riding you hammer the suspension to bottom out and it stays that way. Return spring can not press it out. I fixed this when I did the repair on the fork by grinding of some on each fasett. Battery last ok for two years then they go down i capacity fast. Rear wheel is more plastic than rubber, very hard but I suppose that have less friction on hard surfaces. However it is easy to make a flat spot if you stomp on the rear brake. After that the ride is not smooth. I prefer the solid tyres and the next gen of these have better sets front and back.

Can anyone help me so I’ve had my scooter for a couple of weeks it worked perfectly but one night it just randomly stopped charging and won’t charge on any charger please can someone help me
You might need to shift it into the highest speed mode, it comes initially in beginner mode. Should be the main button on the display. Also, depends how heavy you are of course, but should get higher than that.
theres a secret settings menu where you can set litteraly every thing, the firmware is good, you can set coltage from 24, 36 and 48v, i get 50km in speed 2 on 24v,

I plan to buy M365 PRO and add extra batery. 25 600 mAh and 60 km of range is awesome :D.
Do not complain about the weight! The chinese will take notice and produce a complete piece of shit that is 30% lighter but breaks down fast. That is not what we want.
I have one and I love... Totally addictive... HOWEVER... ILLEGAL TO USE ON ROADS, BIKE PATHS, ANY PUBLIC PLACE. In UK... A fine of up to £300..and if you have a driving license you could lose 6 points... Never been stopped as yet but after the first recorded death last week in England, laws may be enforced more rigorously. Shame we can't seem to organise a segregated road system for bikes and scooters, away from larger vehicles, similar to Holland. I bought an electrics bike, which is legal, but consider this somewhat more risky to be honest. Still reduces my carbon footprint, which was my original motive.
After 6 rides, my scooter will not run. I have been emailing for a few days and have received no response. A complete rip off. Crappy product and no customer service. I'll revise if I hear from them, but I don't have high hopes. Very sad. I need the scooter for transportation and I can't afford to lose so much money. I don't know what I'm going to do. Buyer beware.
Sorry to hear that, Patrice. Not our experience at all, but is the charger ok? Does the LED light up to indicate it's got power/charging? It could just be the battery is dead and the charger not working, which is easy to replace (you shouldn't have to, of course, but it's easy enough to fix)
@@MakeUseOf Not the case. Charger is fine, light was fine... I have been exchanging emails with them and they're trying to get me to fix it myself by sending me photos of the wiring but the pictures they're sending do not match the wiring that is in my scooter. It's clear that the wiring was hastily assembled and crammed in without much care. There is fusing that does not allow me to disconnect the wiring like they're asking me to do, there is tape where there should not be tape... the innards are a mess. MEANWHILE, they will not guide me toward a repair shop, they won't take responsibility and are claiming that I did not send a video of the non-functioning scooter therefor I should withdraw a dispute with PayPal. The truth is, I sent two. I am at my wits end and will never buy from them again and feel obligated to spread the word.
Kugoo s1 pro speed not 30 km/h. It max 25-26 km. And battery durable max 22-24 km after full charge. It is not water protected. My schooter has entered water and stopped. Ive had it for 7 months now… everything worked great until the battery broke… havent got an new battery for 3 months and the handle bar is broken! I do not recommend this scooter… it’s very shaky and feels really cheap. It sounds so much when u drive and the suspension is shit… the only good thing is that the power is great… don’t buy it save up for a better scooter trust me.
rattles over every bump after 3-weeks it virtually was unsafe it's underpowered the handlebars rattle, it's like a kid's toy, it does 4 or 5 mph uphill, my son's 365 pro does 13 mph up the same hill, every video that doesn't have music shows the scooter rattles, it does 12 miles at the most on speed 2
In the UK, electric scooters are classified as motor vehicles, which are “powered vehicles”. To use these vehicles, vehicles need to pay taxes and purchase insurance, and vehicle users also need to have a driver's license. In addition, the UK's Highways Act of 1835 stipulates that the sidewalks on the road are unique to pedestrians and that no vehicles, including scooters, must appear on them. Currently in the UK only electric scooters (e-scooter) are allowed on private land and are prohibited from being used on public roads and sidewalks. Police catch you, they will charge you and scooter will get seized and never returned. You will go to court and get a big fine. Better off buying a mobility scooter since they are legal and can do 15Mph.
Good value, though ill stay on my Gotway TESLA EUC. Range 70km (at around 30-35km/h as i weigh 90Kg) top speed 50km/h...though dont try this unless you know about the warning signals ;-) Normally i cruise at 40-43km/h to be on the safe side.
The typical "oh great review" then proceeds to "ill stick with my brag brag brag" get out the house and go have fun instead of feeling like you need to brag about your much better scooter to everyone
@@redmdc I personally feel that EUC riders have good reason to brag, I mean, have you tried riding them? Practically impossible to stay upright and they'll throw you off at every opportunity. They're basically one-wheeled high-speed death machines! 😁

Did you get to choose which warehouse it comes from, and which shipping method? Express would be with you within a week, but "standard shipping" by boat from China would be a month or two. If you chose a european warehouse, that should be quick.
@@MakeUseOf Poland 3 it said
@@MakeUseOf it said it’s shipped out I only ordered yesterday
Is this the same scooter as e-twow Booster ??

Thx😆
I buy the Kugoo S3 Pro where can i buy the front and rear solid wheel, can you please send me the link..
Try look on Ali or ebay
Mine only got 8km when at full speed, is it broken? i just got it.
You might need to shift it into the highest speed mode, it comes initially in beginner mode. Should be the main button on the display. Also, depends how heavy you are of course, but should get higher than that.
@@MakeUseOf i meant range not speed. About 12km range att full speed.
theres a secret settings menu where you can set litteraly every thing, the firmware is good, you can set coltage from 24, 36 and 48v, i get 50km in speed 2 on 24v,
I assume this slaughters battery life, but also: that's insane!
What?!?!?!?!?please explain bro
How long can u go before you need to recharge it
30km
Thanks I live in a place with not many smooth surfaces and a lot Of hills.I was thinking of getting one I don't have a car ,it was this or a bicycle. But its sounds heavy. One thing can you use it just like a regular one when its not charged.
Yes, you can!
@@MakeUseOf thanks.
finally a good review, thanks!
Can you restrict the speed
Yes, there are three speed modes, which are basically just speed restricters.
Is it waterproof
Nope.
MakeUseOf
Ow thank you
I strongly disagree about the tires. I have the M365 and it gets flat tires that are impossible to change. I prefer solid tires even if it is a harsher ride
LJ Li yeah it really SUCKS having a flat tire
can't you just fill the tires with that fluid stuff?
@@danb7601 I did put it in there . still had flats. Finally, swapped out the air tires for solid ones and so glad i did
180cm is almost 5ft11 lol
It is 5,11
It's practicle if your travels are close by. I mean there not really meant to go long distances. Even the ones that say they do..
It’s like 240 on Amazon it’s so worth it like I can even carry my friend on it because I only wighat 45 kg and my friend 48 so we go pretty fast
That's probably not a good idea!
i have the same one and i love the thing. i live in the UK to
You know it's illegal to ride that on any public road or pavement, right?
@@MakeUseOf not kidding i went past a police car today and he had his window open and i said hi lol and he said i like your scooter, that i did not expect

@@MakeUseOf Are u the government spokes person? Lol
KUGOO S1 Electric Scooter is illegal?
In the UK, all electric scooters are illegal to ride in public, on roads, pavements, and everywhere. On private land you can do as you want.
@@MakeUseOf how does this make sense when i see many people riding there electric scooters on the main road etc lol i think its just one of the laws where police dont give a fuck
@@podcastsforus It's a dumb law, for sure, more because our laws haven't caught up to the technology than because they're being specifically targetted. There is pressure to legalise them, but I certainly wouldn't want to risk a £300 fine or penalty points on my license: www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/electric-scooters-legal-ride-uk-roads-law-protest-downing-street-a9038016.html
YESSS , DEFINITELY LIKE THESE TYPE SCOOTERS , CONSIDERING THE FACT ,
IT HAS A SECRET ,
IT REACHES A REAL 3 8 MILES PER HOUR..
WITH INCREASED TORQUE ......
YESS , REAL TALK ........
Not recommended in the rain then.
Light rain is okay for medium speeds if you cover the charger hole i wouldn't take it out in the pissing down though
@@protectyourneck3042 sorta a deal killer than as in Northern England I could go to shop in it and its fine I'll come out and it will be pouring it down
Is their a solution to that?

Kugoo s1 vs skateflash sk urban 1.0.🤔 que podría salir mal!
could you say that in English lol
You say more powerful than the m365? The motor rated at 350w but is this peak power? Also, is this a rebranded zoom stryder?
I love my M365 for traveling to work. I flashed custom FW (that is what mobile apps can be usefull BTW :D) and it ride very well. 12,5 kg should be no problem for men, but my GF complaining a lot about this weight... I plan to buy M365 PRO and add extra batery. 25 600 mAh and 60 km of range is awesome :D.
You need foam grip s
I got my S1 Pro and it was absolutely rubbish
it rattled it was underpowered on the hills
I sold it for £100 3 weeks after
How much do you weight if you don’t mind me asking? I was thinking of buying one but unsure now
after 3-weeks it was dropping to peices,
it's just a piece of junk, go get a 365 Pro 😎

You get a "like" just for the strap line
After 4 years, it looks like a toy and sounds like a baby.Still, I drive it to work.
I bought it new this year for $100
Damn, bargain
180cm is 5,11 bud.
Still reduces my carbon footprint, which was my original motive.
caro alexander how have you found it so far?
Bro I love the slang. Well it's considered slang to us here in America lol. But a boot is a trunk. That's a cool word. I'm gonna use it😆😁
Play at 1.25 speed its better
I communicated with seller and they told do not use in rainey season. It's not fair. My country has 7 months rain and snow. I do not like this toy schooter.
Any recommendations for an electric scooter that can withstand water? I have yet to see one.
I paid £250 for this
I paid 208 for this of geekbuy a few weeks ago it’s been amazing
Ive had it for 7 months now… everything worked great until the battery broke… havent got an new battery for 3 months and the handle bar is broken! I do not recommend this scooter… it’s very shaky and feels really cheap. It sounds so much when u drive and the suspension is shit… the only good thing is that the power is great… don’t buy it save up for a better scooter trust me.
got my S1 pro yesterday it's rubbish 😱
wasted £289
my son's 365 pro is awesome 😎
why
rattles over every bump after 3-weeks it virtually was unsafe
it's underpowered the handlebars rattle, it's like a kid's toy, it does 4 or 5 mph
uphill, my son's 365 pro does 13 mph up the same
hill, every video that doesn't have music shows the scooter rattles, it does 12 miles at the most on speed 2
Police arent going to stop you
i go past police all the time on mine. they have yet to say anything too me. and if they ever do i will laugh and ride off lol
Niceee
