IDA Signs MOU with ANIMP to Enhance Italian Supply Chain Participation in Global Water Sector

The International Desalination Association is proud to announce the signature of an MOU with ANIMP (Associazione Nazionale di Impiantistica Industriale) on September 15th at the 48th ANIMP National Conference in Rome, Italy. ANIMP President Dr. Marco Villa stated, "The Agreement with IDA will allow ANIMP and its Italian supply chain to be updated in the latest technologies and the market trends and, therefore, is one important milestone in achieving its targets." Ms. Shannon McCarthy, IDA Secretary General, stated, “We are thrilled to announce this new collaboration between the International Desalination Association (IDA) and ANIMP. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our commitment to strengthening water sustainability efforts. Italian members have played a significant role in the IDA over the past fifty years and held a large market share in the 1970’s building out large-scale desalination. Many Italian Universities and Research Centers focus on technical and engineering needs for the water and energy sectors, providing new talent to support growth."
