It’s good how you tested the TRACTION (not torque) control at each level. I turn it OFF for all dirt situations, you don’t want the power dropping just when you need some acceleration. Looking forward to your future vids with this amazing bike. Geoff in Australia
Such a chill demeanor and honest first ride review. Between you, Ben from Dork in the Road, and Ian at Big Rock Moto, y'all make an incredible trifecta of knowledge and experience.
Just watching your video kind of contemplating on buying one tomorrow after watching your video it kinda leans me towards. Yes I do want it. I got seven motorcycles in the garage but I think I might add the transalp to my collection.
I've watched several Transalp 750 reviews all the riders say something about the Traction Control but I never heard it called torque control although I bet it feels like lost or gained torque depending on how you've set it. Zac at RevZilla had to mess with the settings and loved the power and could pull a nice wheelie with the correct setting. Looks like a great all around bike and that's good to hear that it can be used to ride across the country although for me cruise control would make it a lot more comfortable.
Even for me I found the ergonomics when standing on the pegs or sitting while riding really good and I'm 6'1'' with 32'' inseam, just need a little bit more travel and better shock on the rear for me. Great reviews as always Mob Moto and that's why I have subscribed to your channel.
Excellent new bike! I agree on everything you said about the bike. You didn't mention if you ordered any mods? Looking forward to more TransAlp content!
Honda callls it torque control in the manual, and its mostly a street-oriented bike for tarmac which should have traction, hence why they call it torque control.
Good review. I bought one a few days ago and agree with your assesment on the the bike. Also people question the term torque control but thats actually what they call it in the owners manual. Ian from big rock moto pulled the TC fuse out and the bike seemed to run normally but with no TC. I might wire a switch so I can do wheelies.
sport mode has more rider restrictions turned on than the user mode I used and traction control off. Honda calls it torque control, but yes its what we all know as traction control.
I own the Tuareg and I fell in love with it the moment I sat on it. Upmap Tuned with an exhaust on her and it's intoxicating. It's heavy when trying to keep up on expert dual sport rides due to weight, but if you're not doing anything that steep (climbs) and dropping it all day, then it's absolutely perfect.
The Tuareg is a great bike, the suspension is fantastic. its good size for me, but its in a class with heavy competition and its still up towards the top.@@DirtStacks

Im just a small channel, but I appreciate that! Thanks
Out of all the reviews ive watched. Yours was the best thanks
Cool tour of your new bike. Congrats!
Another great bike Brotha ! I've been through Baja on my 690 Enduro and recently on my Tiger 660 . I think I might have to get this new Honda 👍

Nice review man. I'm picked one up a few days ago and I love how well it rides
How’s the slow low end torque for the washed out rocky service roads?

I bought the 2024 Honda Transalp 750 last week and your review is very accurate on this bike.
Looks pretty torqey to me. It's not a sports bike. It's a touring bike
As a 750 you choose power up high for highway driving
No cruise? Bummer!
Great first impression video, I can't wait for your full review.
Awesome channel 💪
✌️
Thanks brother!

it is pretty plush. lol
I was concerned about no speed controll but you make a damn good point.
I think the T on your dash is traction control not torque? Nice review first t ride 👍🤟
Yes it is Traction, not Torque. I have one.
Honda calls it Torque control in the manual, but yes we all know it as traction control.
Alot of bike compared to the T7 at the same price ish.
If you could pick just one, do you get CRF450RL or TRANSALP?
Depends on the type of riding but I prefer the small dualsports the most right now vs traveling a highway bike.
Excellent new bike! I agree on everything you said about the bike. You didn't mention if you ordered any mods? Looking forward to more TransAlp content!
Yeah im gonna do some mods. There is so much to cover but figured I better do a few videos. lol
Thanks Ken! Looking forward to riding with you.
Really good first ride, buddy--I think you answered my questions. Liked and subbed--thanks!
What you are calling torque on your display is actually traction control not torque
Honda callls it torque control in the manual, and its mostly a street-oriented bike for tarmac which should have traction, hence why they call it torque control.
Nice video ...got one on order here in Colorado just waiting. Sold my T7 and AT but kept my 450RL......you know why......
Great!
Tip:
Get a bashplate asap
Like from Germany!!! I have also this black Beauty...
Resetting TC everytime riding sand in Baja is gonna be tiresome...Honda should have kept it off this bike and just stuck with ABS.
It only goes off when the key is turned off, and its a good feature to accommodate a lot more riders.

Right!!! It doesnt matter if i say it right or say it wrong people complain either way.
Ill have to talk to Ian, doesnt sound like a bad idea.
Bring on the mods!…. Looking forward to the content.
This bike is definitely on my radar
thanks for the review, can't wait for mine to arrive.
Much appreciated...great testing grounds.
Nice. Good to see someone give it the beans.
You know it's funny. I have a KTM 350 EXC-F and I'm seriously considering this Honda.
That would be a great two-bike combo.
@@MobMoto Even better than that. I have a Triumph T120 black for local cruising. All bases covered 🙂
This bikes gearing for on and off road is the best of both worlds.
I totally agree!
Congrats Rodney! Nice pickup!!
Thanks Bob, ive been waiting and I didn't think it would happen till next year.
Nice review. I like your views.
Congrats player!!! First transalp supermoto?
I keep thinking about a supermoto! Lol
Should have had it in sport mode on the street
sport mode has more rider restrictions turned on than the user mode I used and traction control off.

Subbed
What about the break in mileage ?
600 miles
If you could only have this or the tuareg 660 which one would it be and why?
I’m to the point I want reliability. T7 or Transalp for me
Have you had the opportunity to ride a tuareg? I'd like to hear you thoughts on that. I liked your review
I own the Tuareg and I fell in love with it the moment I sat on it. Upmap Tuned with an exhaust on her and it's intoxicating. @@james8518 Ive ridden the Taureg a few times, I did a video on it. Its good, the suspensions is great. Thanks for watching.
