While bowling in a Pro-Am in Louisville a friend's wife asked her about adding revs. Daria took time to show her how to practice dropping the ball off her fingers to get used to the feeling. Then she said to start driving your fingers through the ball to get the timing. She literally held the ball in the palm of her right hand and let the drop by collapsing her wrist towards the floor. She suggest using a towel to catch the ball. It's something that takes days/weeks to master but it makes a difference. I did a similar thing years ago to add revs. The wrist drop with finger slap is a newer technique. Works well for Daria and others on tour.
Numbers look good! Setting that 5th arrow on fire! It does get difficult to loft over the gutter when you roll thr ball so close to the foul line. You are a natural athlete, so you will have thay down in no time.
She gives us a bowling lesson to practice on, but dosen't have time to answer some important questions we might have 😃 Maybe Daria wants the tough ones to help ourselves and be fighters 😋

Does the weight of the dumbbell matter? Or is it just there to help work on balance? Also, do you use fingertip inserts? How does someone go about trying to increase rev rate?
Terena 2 or 5 pound dumbell shoud be sufficient. You just want to feel that you are placing your left arm in the same area over and over. The weight amplifies that feeling.
I am a new subscriber and your videos are excellent. some of the best bowling instruction videos. The thing that makes them great too is that the camera work is super high quality, much better than dumb Extra Frame! What kind of camera/lens combo are you using?
Very cool but not at all necessary lol. Maybe 5 of the pros total NEED to loft gutter. Pull a black hammer out or tropical storm with boat loads of polish on it. Straighter is always greater folks
I work in the bowling Industry when u bowl on a thirty foot pattern or on a slow ass shot let’s see if straighter is greater when your ball hooks off the lane half way
I wish I could bet you 500 dollars for one game of bowling. If you win 500 and a new bowling outfit or ball. If I win I get to take you to a very fancy restaurant to talk and get to know you better. What do you say?

Like the slo-mo when you throw it. Can get a better look of where your hand is in relation to ball’s axis and your release. Very helpful.

thanks for the specific video. im trying to throw ball without wrist supporter but not easy to pull out thumb. nice to watch your wrist posture.
