    Video Summary:
In primary active transport, energy comes directly from the ATP or other high-energy compounds. This transport stores potential energy in the molecules that have been moved. When that energy is used secondarily to move other molecules it's called secondary active transport. So this is the fundamental difference between primary and secondary active transport.

This video literally helped me so much! The analogy of the rock was the perfect example to help me understand it. Now its engrained in my brain :)

The example with the rocks was perfect. Thanks to you I finally understand the difference. The book and the teachers could not help me get how secondary active transport works. So yeah, thank you so much for this video!

The difference between primary and secondary
In primary active transport, energy comes directly from the AT, stores potential energy in the molecules that have been moved.
in Secondary active transport, that energy is used secondarily to move other molecules
