I love the color “Coy” (20) in the Maybelline Superstay Vinyl Ink. It is so versatile! I also love the Peripera Mood stain, also in 20 (I’m not sure of the color name. Thank you for your delightfully informative videos - great work!
Not a colour, but I'm really new to makeup despite being 58. Would you consider doing a video about brushes and which to use for what. I know you mention it but something I could keep going to would be marvelous ... Including best products and cleaning them.
How about monochrome looks using Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Mauvy Night (473), Goldpearl Plum (610), and Iced Amethyst (625)? We do not see a lot of monochrome midtone berry tutorials here, so tutorials with those shades (or very similar ones) could help people who use those colors on their lips, but are unsure of how to use them on their eyes and cheeks.

This look is gorgeous !! I love it so much ! I like the idea of different monochromatic looks ! I just bought a Laura Geller palette that has a salmon pink eyeshadow in it and I’m not sure how to use it. I put it on my lids and I kind of looked like I was sick. Maybe a look using a color like that ? I also would love to see a purple look ! I love color in my eyeshadow and yes I get very bored with neutral brown and taupe ! My favorite eyeliner colors lately are muted purples and Blue green colors for summer. Navy is also a staple. I have green eyes and those colors work for me. You and I have similar hair texture and color and we are very close in age. I made a discovery for conditioning my hair. That is the best that I have ever found. It is called Batana end. It comes in a jar. It’s very thick and greasy. I put it on my hair and mix in a little bit of castor oil and I leave it on for at least two hours. It has transformed my hair. It is worth researching.

Yes, to a bronzey look for summer! I know the brighter colors are out of your comfort zone, but I really think they look great on you! You could even go a little heavier on them for more color payoff. 😊

My favourite pink lipstick bullet is Maybelline Pink for Me. I absolutely love it. My favourite pink lipgloss is from Essence, one of their Shine, Shine Shine ones.👍

That lipstick is so pretty. I wish they made the long staying lip colors in shades like this. Honestly, on my fair skin, those long lasting lip stains are just too dark. If you know of any that are more subdued, I would love to know. Thanks. Beautiful look!!
I found it interesting you mentioned putting sunscreen on your hands. I do the same. We don't think about how much sun damage can be done in the car. I"m now 64 and my wrinkles when I smile are much more noticeable on the left side of my face (the drivers side of my car where I sit). I've encouraged my daughter and son (he's a zoo keeper so he's outside all day) to always wear sunscreen even when she they don't think they need it.
Love this Laura. Nudes make me look ill. I am a Winter and appreciate this video. I do use a nude lip liner though! Pink Wink is 105 if you are ordering online people.
Hi Laura Ray, l only have to put mascara on the top lashes, the top lashes always transfers just a little bit to my lower lashes, and I never have a problem with it transferring to my skin either, l got lucky in that way, hugsssss ❤❤❤

So you wash your brushes every time you use them? Wow - a new benefit of being retired, the luxury of time! I've had to build my brush collection, two or three of the same brush at a time, because I know I won't be able to wash them all the time. I thought I was doing well just by swabbing the brushes I use for liquid or cream products in a capful of micellar water - just to keep mold away. I guess your way is necessary in a high-humidity environment like Florida. So wise - so you, Laura Rae! Love the video, thanks!
It’s funny, but I actually find washing makeup brushes very relaxing. I would stay up late at night after school washing my brushes. It gave me time to think about what I was doing the next day. Lol.❤️❤️

This is a lovely look on you. I just wanted to mention the benefit pot cream eyebrow product. I have it in shade 2, it's a light taupe. Anyways I use a very small slanted brush to apply this and it last all day and is so much more economical. I use a spoolie to comb it through. Since I keep it very light I can make a bigger brow which looks more youthful. Just thought I would mentio this in case it helped someone. I'd like to see you use that pallet to make a peacock eye wirh blue green and purple shadow with a silver liner!

You retired? I guess it's "holidays" ATM but how are you doing? I retire in 18 months (can't wait) but keep wondering what I'm going to do with all my resources...I have a garage full.
I gave all of my teaching materials to other teachers that wanted them. At one point, I could fill an entire garage with my teaching materials I purchased with my own money. So excited for you and your upcoming retirement. xoxo
