Exhilarating to watch, and surely the best Win in Australia since Winx's second Cox Plate. Not suggesting Jenni is in that kind of Class but it's such a clever tactic, what with the Pace the races are run here. So what do her rivals do? The first one to go after her is a sitting shot for the rest - l guess that's the thinking of the other Jock's. So they all just sit and wait until she's too far in front to be caught.
There was Media Chat about how the Randwiick 2000 was gonna be too much for her but there's much less pace in a 10f race compared to 8f and perhaps this is where her advantage lies. Go and watch any Japanese G1 10f Race - the Pace is on from the start. I'd love to speak to the people that have come up with this tactic cos it's absolutely brilliant.

good 4 track and 1 of those was an 11.99, this race should be described as the rest of the field was dawdling to the extreme and allowed the leader to get away then they continued to dawdle, this is a very suspicious race for this reason, call it a free headstart
mr brightside ran 5th in the australian cup, he ran 6 11 second sectionals and was beaten by 5 lengths but would beat pride of jenni today by more than 5 lengths, if pride of jenni runs 15.14, 11.99 and 11.54 in that race then its running last about 8 lengths behind ironically pride of jenni

Shocking LACK of Pace Judgment by pretend "elite" rival jockeys that CANT COUNT!!!🥵🥵🥵
    Facts:1st 1000m in 1:01...2nd 1000m in 1:01

James MacDonald was embarrassing on the fav. He never made a move until after the 600m mark - the race was already over. Then he has the nerve to look around at the other jocks at the 50m, as if to say what were you all doing - youse were supposed to cart me up to the leader!
He annoys me when he does it when he wins a big race - now this.
He might be the best rider, but he has a serious attitude problem.

Terrible race riding by all the other jockeys
If Mr Brightside had stayed 5 or 6 lengths closer during the race Via Sistina would have finished over the top of her.
Just goes to show how slow the tempo usually is in Australian middle distance races
Just jog for 1400m then sprint
It’s why the European and Japanese horses are far far superior

      Stupid reply
      I’m not seething
I actually advocate for middle distance and staying races to be run at a proper tempo
I don’t rate Aussie middle distance horses because they are just jog and sprint affairs
It explains why horses out there can win from 1400-2400, because at 1600+ they are almost never true tests of stamina so I actually want frontrunning horses like this winning.
This is actually what I’ve wanted for the past 10 years.
The point is once the other jockeys wake up she’ll never get away with doing this again
It doesn’t prove she’s better than the horses she beat it just proves her jockey was much smarter on the day

Came her weeks ago and declared this horse the best 2000m horse in Australia . She had beat the highly taunted Brightside and co . Everyone said , the barrier blah blah . He will will run her down . Lost on her last week but felt like she was heading to where she wanted to be . Just stoked I got her at 8s early this week . She kicked there asses like they didnt need to be there . For me she is up there with Imperatriz as the horse of the year . Credit Maher for as always not making it hard for her . Let her do her thing he reckons . On you mate , less instructions and more racing .

to be fair , Sec didnt have much behind him that day . If another horse had run big the margin would not have been 31 L .
