I like you answering questions whenever you want to! I’m watching each episode and yours are the episodes that I look for first! I love the effort that all of you put into your projects. I also especially think it’s great of Kirra to be splitting and stacking up the wood. That’s a tough job!!! Love you guys! Many blessings!!!
I use 2"med stud with 2 inch air gap that's 4 inches 😁😁😁 well plus the 1/2 concrete bored makes four and a half inches keep up the good work take care guys are good
I've heard for crying out loud my whole life. My late mother and her father was the queen and king of old time saying. It''s amazing to look up the meaning of some of those. I love you all answering questions anytime your little hearts wants. Awesome progress ladies! Kirra, thank you for tackling the fire wood! That's probably the most import job. I know a needed one to keep you all warm. Have an awesome day ladies! X's &
Dollar store pool noodles with a slit cut in them or pipe insulation noodle type. Can be used on top of that chip board to protect the tarp from being cut by board raw edges. For goat shed
I heard that all my life. My mom said it all the time. I don’t know that my grandma did. I think I used a few times when the kids were growing up. Grandma used to say. Don’t spill the milk.
My dad would always say oh Theresa for crying out loud, I miss that, I used to say it to my boys all the time, they have family of their own so I haven't said it for a long time now. Love your channel ❤ 💕
You probably already know this hack, but to get up candle wax. Put down a paper towel over the spilled wax. Then iron the paper towel and the wax will adhere to the paper towel. This works on carpet as well. No damage to carpet.
Have you watched Jared Crocker's video on shipping containers condensation and what you have to do to stop it the man that sold sells them told them that you have to put at least 3 in of closed cell spray on foam in order to get them to stop from condensation they say if you don't it rains like a river and they're the ones that sell them
About your end window - too bad you aren't short like me - a cabinet top closer to the ground would be ideal for me - 5 foot even, on a good day!! LOL!!
You might be over thinking the sweating walls. Randy Jones of Incredible tiny Homes in Tennessee builds homes with steel foam filled door reminants. He said the walls dont sweat but the windows do. This can be fixed by using an air exchanger fan. Check his site out. It was a video maybe a couple of days ago where he address this. Hey, I said previously that I miss Idaho snow, well now I am in NC and we're expecting 6 inches this weekend. Glad I brought my snow shovel. Even tho the road will be a mess since there is probably one snow plow for the whole state. lol
Everyone of my elders said it. My Dad did carpentry, for people to earn extra income. I would go with him a lot. He would say it a lot also. So do l. Blessings, Prayers, Always
I'm sure you said why & I just missed it but why are you only going halfway up the wall with the pink insulation? I thought you were installing a sliding glass door on the end. You're doing a great job ladies!
There are a few theories as to why a baker’s dozen became 13, but the most accepted one has to do with avoiding a beating. In medieval England there were laws that related the price of bread to the price of the wheat used to make it. Bakers who were found to be “cheating” their customers by overpricing undersized loaves were subject to punishment, including fines or flogging.
Hey you guys I was watching Lumnah Acres on RUclips and they have a off grid shipping container that they converted into a overnight camper/ cabin if you think it could help with the insulation it might help you for information on the shipping container build just saying
I know it's too late cause you've probably already done what you said, but, jeez I Pete, cut the backer board instead of shutting down the stove, picking it up etc! Or at least move in and come back to it! 😍
So you're trying to heat the container with the woodstove, WHY do you have container doors cracked open ? If air for stove, should be plenty coming from unsealed living room addition . Also try a serrated knife to cut out pieces of foam board 👍😎cheers
But the stove pipe still has to be a distance away from the wall too 18 in I think it is but not as bad as the old fashioned wood stove that's why I put that concrete board all the way to the ceiling in my house because my stove pipe was 2 in too close to the wall didn't matter about the wood stove it was just stove pipe I could have fixed that problem by using insulated wood stove pipe right down to the wood stove though but it was cheaper to put the concrete board up with a 2-in airspace behind the concrete board and metal studs holding the concrete board but just remember place has different regulations
Don't understand why it would sweat cuz my bus is all metal like a shipping container and with a wood stove in it it doesn't sweat it doesn't even sweat with the propane furnace going I don't know what the difference between that shipping container and a school buses
What kind of adhesive are you using ? Looks like gorilla brand . Did you know great stuff makes construction adhesive that can be used in extreme condition's
Your going to have to make sure that every little space in the whole container is sealed off . If any warm air can come in contact with the metal siding of the container you'll get condensation. And if it does and you have everything finished on the inside you won't be able to see it. Your wood will start to rot and you will get mold. My wife and I hope you can do it but it won't be easy.
Yep..."For crying out loud " was a commonly used phrase in my home while growing up. My favorite aunt always used that or "Well that's the pits!"
I love that you add the bloopers
Glad someone showed you how to use the speed square as a guide for the saw
such a great tip
It’s all about having the right tools 👍🏻
Yes!!
Yes I will be watching 4 sho love it one love guys

Hi!! What a great picture of you Heather 💜🧡
Proud of y'all. 👍
My mom always said "for crying out loud." My mother-in-law would say, "Oh for cracking ice."
Looks like your goats are cozy !
looking forward to more videos
Sorry, had a Tampa Bay Lighning game last night. Framings going great on the rear doors, insulation as well. Love ya'll ❤️
It’s getting exciting now as we watch the framing and installation going in
don't forget to leave room to insulate the door on the inside also you will need a heat shield between the stove and insulation
I may have won the coldest temps, but you sure win the most amount of snow!
More than this are has had since 2008
@@KuzweKanfarms Last year we didn't have this much, but it was a colder winter. Today we have rain.. and snow, and back to rain again
Icicles and all that snow. I will no longer complain when we are in the teen with only a few inches of snow.
Not only did my grandmother say for crying out loud, my mother did also and now I have followed their lead and say it quite regularly.

It will be in the high 30s all week... It's almost tropical
I heard that all my life. My mom said it all the time. I don’t know that my grandma did. I think I used a few times when the kids were growing up. Grandma used to say. Don’t spill the milk.

By the way Kirras pants were smoking!!!

You might need to place metal behind stove on top of the insulation for safety

How about a sliding glass door? That way you could have the light and you wouldn’t have to ever open the doors but it would be the light you wanted
Slider is going in the side
Hi
ya its call a sheet rock square lol if you use new chalk line you got it would be easier lol
Wouldn't it be so much easier with your build to have a cleaned working area ??
Yes it would!!!!

well the studding are you using 2x6 or 2x4 studding I would use 2x4 my self
