Oxford's unique and rigorous program in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing is a project-based course that unites students from a wide variety of maths and science backgrounds to solve problems using modelling and algorithms. After graduating from Harvard, Adrienne applied to Oxford specifically because of this unique program, and has loved her experience thus far. At Oxford, Adrienne lives at Corpus Christi College, one of Oxford's smaller colleges, and outside of class she plays football with the Corpus-Pembroke Women's Football Team and climbs with the Oxford Mountaineering Club. She'll be finishing her Masters this year after completing a thesis in which she'll work on a model of the heart and investigate the two-way interface between the electrochemistry and the mechanics of the heart.

Your School doesn't matter shit. It's about you as a student. Your academic achievements. Unlike most UK universities, oxbridge are less interested in yiur extra curriculars that don't concern academics or stuff related to your course. So in your application stick to writing stuff directly related to the course you want to do, showing your passion for it and distinguishing yourself with your interests.
I go to CU Boulder (nationally and internationally known mostly for our drug use) and I got into Cambridge. The school doesn't matter. What matters is your application.
