@@ВолодимирМіхневич of course. Amphora as a wine fermentation and aging vessel never existed, besides couple of archeological discoveries. not in Italy at least. Greek word itself means “handles”. meaning, amphora was a name for clay jars that were used to transport olive oil, pickles and sometimes wine. but since in last couple of decades thanks to Grvner and others, Qvevri winemaking become popular, people started making different type of Clay vessels and started calling them Amphoras. in other words, “Amphora” is just a modern imitation of Qvevri, with modern name that means nothing.
