I don't think there is any risk of Angelina being too influenced by the pop culture. Have you heard Angelina's latest song? She is featuring on Nico Cartosio's brand new album called "Melting". Nico is a writer and composer of symphonic music in neo-romanticiscm style. His album is brilliant and the last song there is called "Song for A". It was written specifically for Angelina. The song is not yet out on RUclips, but you can find it on any of the streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music or Tidal. Try it out. This Angelina performance is simply awesome and shows a completely different side of her. I think Angelina's warm and emotional contralto voice is perfectly suited to classical oriented songs like Song for A.
Yes there are a lot of young singers that are great today specially now that we have RUclips and everything to showcase their talents. But only few I mean really really few that has the power to touch souls. And definitely Angelina Jordan is one of those very few... She's untouchable in her genre. She's a goddess there.

Her unique/mature tone is reminiscent of the greatest icons of old. RUclips has started blocking all copyrighted videos unless you insert pauses around every 30 seconds. Angelina still gets her copyright claim so it's not about money. This is something RUclips has started doing recently. It's frustrating for me as well because I don't like pausing during the songs because it pulls me out of the moment. That is why I insert the breaks afterwards during editing. I do try to keep them as unintrusive as possible. I've heard a few other reactors mention putting unedited reactions on something called Patreon. I'm not sure what that is but I will look into it and see if it may be an option.

I think that's the point. She isn't trying to copy anyone. Her voice is naturally deep and smokey and she is a jazz/blues singer so everything she sings has that sound. Amy Winehouse and Nina Simone had similar sounds because they were also jazz singers. I don't want her to sing pop music... at least not in the traditional pop style. Her voice is much more suited to James Bond type songs. She recently moved to LA so I do worry about the Hollywood types ruining her the way they love to do... with them it's only about the $$$.

You say she sings like an adult because of her almost contralto voice well that's only because you are not familiar with children with deeper voices. As far as ruining is concern, why would you relate it to pop? Jazz was the music for where people were constantly ruining their lives in the past, should we hope she doesn't get involved with Jazz and Blues? Elvis, Beatles, Supertramp, Fleetwood Mac, Abba were pop would you rather she hung out with Megadeath people? Spears and Lohan were trailor park people before their fame Aguilera and Carey weren't. It has nothing to do what music they're doing it's who they are as people and how they were raised that matters

Amy Winehouse and Nina Simone had similar sounds because they were also jazz singers. I don't want her to sing pop music... at least not in the traditional pop style. Her voice is much more suited to James Bond type songs. She recently moved to LA so I do worry about the Hollywood types ruining her the way they love to do... with them it's only about the $$$.

You say she sings like an adult because of her almost contralto voice well that's only because you are not familiar with children with deeper voices. As far as ruining is concern, why would you relate it to pop? Jazz was the music for where people were constantly ruining their lives in the past, should we hope she doesn't get involved with Jazz and Blues? Elvis, Beatles, Supertramp, Fleetwood Mac, Abba were pop would you rather she hung out with Megadeath people? Spears and Lohan were trailor park people before their fame Aguilera and Carey weren't. It has nothing to do what music they're doing it's who they are as people and how they were raised that matters
