Hi. I would like to add that the Razer RMA and customer support team is very good. My Barracuda X (not 2022 version) had issue about the mic making static sound. They just made me record the issue and told me to cut the cable and serial number. Then next day, they already sent me a replacement and its 2022 version. They even let me keep my old barracuda X
lel I bought barracuda x 2022 edition and it was pretty good until I found out that 2.4 dongle does not turn on when system wakes up from sleep or restarts (so it requires taking it out and in every time), and there is like 2 years old thread on razer forum with people trying to come up with workarounds and bashing razer and its support for selling defective product and doing jack shit about it, just copypasting generic answers that do not help at all, ended up returning it and buying hyperx cloud 3 wireless, not as much features but better experience overall
I have the g335, its comfortable. But Barracuda X is slightly comfortable for my huge head, and better sound quality. The noise isolation in the Logitech is a lot worse imo. Thats why it's cooler.
I'm from Iran and I loved the way you described both of the headsete I watched comparison of arctis 1 with razer barracuda, two versions of barracudas and this video. It helped me A LOT and now I can easily decide which one to buy. Keep it up man👏
If you buy these, watch out for the USB C Dongle Disconnection Issues. Been an absolute nightmare after the first month. Literally waited for the returns period to end then it now disconnects after 5 minutes so have to use 3.5mm wire which means I can't use my microphone :/

The issue seems to be with the USB C Dongle itself maybe some buggy firmware as it is a plug and play dongle that Windows will not recognize after it disconnects and I find myself re-plugging it every 5 minutes.
I can’t even get mine to connect to Windows in the first place as the wireless dongle is unrecognised, but it will happily connect to the PS4. Will just connect with the 3.5mm audio cable to the PC ☹️
I've been using it since 2022 right until now when my razer mic broke. Imo the value is amazing. But just note that it has a plug in mic. If you want a decent headset but not spend big money I'd say it's a pretty good option. It's also lightweight and mic is pretty good

If so, which ones do you recommend are good wireless ones for gaming? Nice review! But now that Logitech G PRO X Lightspeed can be picked up for around 130€, do still think 535 is a better choice? Barracuda seemed nice but they lost me when you said they don't breathe as well as 535 and according to Rtings have less neutral sound

I actually managed to try 535, original Pro X and Nova 7 for myself… I went with Nova, they are so comfy and because of BT I can also listen to audiobooks/podcasts from my phone with them instead of earbuds. Pro X were super nicely built and with textile cushions were alright temp wise but for some reason they didn’t fit me at all: my ear would start hurting after 20 minutes in them and after an hour it was excruciating pain that wouldn’t go away for a few hours even I took them off. So had to return PRO X… kinda wonder if second gen is any better but also so happy with Novas and that chat mix control that don’t really wanna try anymore. Nova’s build quality is not as good and they have some weird tremble but it doesn’t bother me so much in my use cases (sim racing and podcasts)
@@DanglishReviews the most common is that the headband breaks due to an unsuccessful design, I also saw a photo where the plastic falls off near the volume control, etc PS I plan to play them and listen to music on RUclips, connect to smart TV to watch a movie at night, there will be a nice bonus)

@DanglishReviews Strange, I will try reinstall the G Hub and try again, on 100 volume the sound is very low, even the sound from my phone is better, there is no bass and in-game id had to be on 100 volume, to hear anything. If the reinstalling doesn't fix the audio, I will return them and buy Barracuda X.

So i have 100$ and for me my main uses for a headset would be gaming/youtube i spend alot of time watching youtube but at times i game for quite a bit also other than that i listen to some music. I owned the BARRACUDA X, it was terrible, not good gaming performance, sound Quality is not horrible but bad, my old hs 80 was better at mic and sound Quality . Long story short Barracuda X is comfortble but not enough for gaming, i refunded. Get the G733 or G535 . Logitech and Sennheiser is the best .

I personally prefer the barracuda x, a bit more comfortable, better sound,better mic. Better battery life. the g535 is comfortable tho, sound quality is okay. Not a bad buy. but Razer barracuda x is the most comfortable headset i wore.
I have 2 options. Barracuda x wireless 2021, and logitech g935 lightspeed. I am getting barracuda x slightly cheaper (very slight) then g935. Confused which one I should buy. I don't like that g935 battery only has around 12 hours support while barracuda goes for 50+. But barracuda does not have any software support as far as I know, so you can't go customization options. Can you recommend which one should I buy please? @simon
the logitech G935 is not lightspeed, why i havent tested it. its much older tech. But i have no idea about the headset, i've only tested all the lightspeed headsets.

Go fo g733 if they are same price as g535 or very close, they are pretty same headsets but 733 is a bit beefy and "software" unlocked. I got G733 and are great, sound can be very easy tune and you can obtain a nice sound
Razor is hot garbage. I' had a nari set that failed to charge they wanted me to send it back on my dime then after they'd received it they said they'd send out a replacement. Total trash way to support failed product.
My nari stoped to work 1 of the speakers 1 week after warranty finished 😅 I'm using Logitech from there and I never had more problems, and it's 3 years with same headset

Few months ago I got myself non X barracudas and they had a terible hiss in right earcup, so it can happen to any headset

3D Sounds is coming from the console (PS5), not from the headset. You enable and disable it (3D Sounds) from the menu setting of PS5.

have them, i found that the volume control slider makes audio static when using it.....and sometrimes cut out in right ear..

I am using the G Hub, and it's awful the sound without the FxSound sound booster. What about the Razer Barracuda? Is it better than the G535?

Nope, i dont have an Android and i havent Tried using it on an iPad - but i am pretty sure that barracuda is not virtuel surround stage
