Sometimes my locs are hard but I've noticed that they soften up whenever I shampoo and use a rinse out conditioner. Also, I often don't drink enough water so dry locs remind me to ramp it up!🥰

This is GREAT content! Pass the plate bcz that was a preach/teach hunty👏🏽👏🏽 My consultant (God love her) had me dry out the gate and I came color treated red at install. I was at 18 mths and she kept telling me no moisture even when I asked for SL reconstructer. Whew my locs were parched and started snapping.
When I moved to FL a few mths ago I KNEW I had to do something so I started using Basic leave in condish and hair oil to my scalp and bam it so much better but I have to pay now to have those locs repaired.

So for me, the reason my hair was dry was because of blow drying. ( I was using a hooded dryer attachment and everything!) Unfortunately, it's absolutely a necessity that I blow dry because it's currently cold in state where I live. The way I remedied this was by using a conditioner on wash day and by blow drying my hair to slightly damp and letting it air dry the rest of the way.
Do you have any tips to blow drying completely dry but where the hair still feels supple afterward?

Hey, so color does loosen the texture a bit and raises the cuticles. Are you completely locd? If so, shampoo your hair with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. This is one of my faves (amzn.to/3na0BR9). The spray mixture you use it fine, I would just make sure to use distilled water instead. Hope this helps.
