Me and my brother see a big cat years ago in sundon chalk quarry Bedfordshire.
I don't know what it was, it was black size of a labrador and kind of perched on a hill/cliff edge, it sat there as we approached, thinking it was a dog but no owner in sight, it moved and boy it moved then I knew it was no dog.
I'll show you exactly where in the quarry it was, no one around for miles, lots of rabbits and pheasent and a pond lots of dense growth and wooded areas.

Good move, I like to imagine that there could be a few Puma's running about as even where they live they are notoriously shy and difficult to see but the evidence for them is lacking and some of the people promoting the idea of big cats don't seem very trustworthy, even if they have a Leopard/Puma paw print moulded in plaster, I think I could probably make a fake one of those if I wanted to deceive people

Hey Cookie - Seen your older videos, respect your reasons for not continuing to do them, but I do need to tell you, that there are in fact some big cats near where I live (N Yorks) and many fishermen have seen it / them, its rare to see, but lots of people have had experiences with it, up close, and talking just a few meters away, usually its night time / early evening.
Here's the thing, you could walk through the jungle and never see a jaguar, you could set up trap cameras and chances are you'd never get one on film, but they're there, we know they are, but they're just very reclusive, it's the same with what people around here refer to as "black panther" you're unlikely to see it, but if you hang around a certain location (which I'm not going to say here), stay very still, into the early evening, you may, just possibly, see one.
I refer to it, as it / them, as from those who i know who've seen one, or from people i've spoken to who have (and it's quite a few, specifically in that area), no one has ever seen 2.
I've also noticed a few people on youtube talking about their experience and a couple are not far away from the area in question (same city), so that's also interesting

    • @lloyds053
      @lloyds053 2 года назад

Nonsense, in the countries they exist yes they are elusive but if you put cameras up or go to areas where ther e are signs they exist ie scat, paws marks, hair etc you WILL 100% catch them on film, how do you think we have wildlife documentaries duh. There probably have been big cats escape years back and survived for a bit, but not breeding populations as the liars out there try to suggest, if you 'know' of areas where they are frequently seen then film them for absolute proof, dont have to say where it is, jus get definitive proof to back up your tales of these cats being seen regularly. But you cant because they aren't seen at all never mind regularly

I,m not subbed to your channel came across it, because i saw the grizzly documentary about the UK big cat stuff, so being honest here that's why i watched your stuff as i have been looking into the big cat story,s in the UK, i have lived and worked in the countryside and fished and hunted most of my life, been to many amazing wild places, the Cairngorms the far north, in all that time i've had some amazing close views of some rare and hard to find creatures saw a scottish wildcat, pine martin and many more, but puma, leopard or panther type cat's not a one, though having worked on farm,s with plenty of big rat,s i have saw some very big feral/farm cats( very big as usual domestic cat range) i believe for a time after the 1976 dangerous animals act that some people did indeed release big cat's into the wild, but this was 40 years ago, so those are long dead. And while there may be an odd escapee that go's unreported there would have to be several hundred on the go across the British isles to have any chance of a viable breeding population, and to have that many in our small island they would have been clear evidence through film and photo of there existence, in fact there is better photographic and film evidence of UFO's than big cat,s. So until there is conclusive evidence i,m sceptical.

Hi Cookie I know you don’t like the subject on big cats but what do you think about the DNA proof and I’ve seen one up close within meters of one, so I know a 100% they are out there! But I have no supporting evidence and I know the footage out there isn’t great but I’m out there trying to get real evidence to support what I seen but I can only give my word, but I’m not going to argue with you because I know what I seen but I know you don’t know me but I am out there trying my best and I’ve put a lot of time and money in trying to get that prove, but if hadn’t seen it up close I’d be skeptical too and I’ve seen it 5 times in the last 28 years and but seeing it up close confirmed what I believed I already knew, but I do see why you don’t because of all the crap footage, but I’m out there doing my best to capture decent footage but please stay optimistic but anyway thanks for the great videos I really enjoy them I hope to see more thank you

Facebook is the same in most groups I set up a group in hopes to meet other pll flying macaw in ireland so lots of ppl joined all interested in free flying but none actually flying and there was one group of women that omg I ended up asking to leave or be blocked every single picture I posted were picked apart .. I don’t mind constructive criticism but one woman kept picking at everything and she’s never even had a pet budgie never mind a free flight trained macaw.. then one of her friends were all about parrot rescue but after been barred from a shop who had a bird stuck in a cage 24/7 who still needs to be rescued she just didn’t want me doing the rescue she tried to tell me the ispca told her there’s no point rescuing this bird because they will only but another bird and that is possible but I worked in this organisation and know for a fact they never feel a rescue is pointless if an animal is suffering there aim is to get said animal out of that situation and deal with any other situation if and when it arises she just didn’t want me having him I said I’ll get him out and you can have him or another girl who takes in rescues can have him but she said she can’t have him so I said I’ve no problem taking him to where she flipped saying but this other girl deserves him 3 seconds after saying she can’t have him mountains and molehills so the name of the group is Irish Flyers (parrot) if anyone’s interested you don’t have to be Irish or have a bird I’m admin and a trusted friend is admin and we don’t put up with that bullshit so many parrot experts who have only read the information they keep spouting .. I said here before I started uploading video of my macaw our flying if you go to see him on my account hit sub ... and I eun a parrot supply store that has a sale at BigbieParrot . There is little to zero evidence to indicate that animals the size of leopards and pumas roam the UK and are readily breeding here. I was very interested in this subject back in the 80's and 40 plus years on the same nonsense.

Shame you decided against looking for big cats as you put so much honesty and effort into you videos, if you don't find your target species, you say so. If you do and only get distant footage, it is real, no editing in clips from other videos. This is one of the reasons I subscribed. I don't belong to a big cat group or the flat earth lot etc. I am a birder (but not a twitcher) and enjoy all wildlife and sometimes don't see much at all on my trips out. Not that I go far with all these recent Covid restrictions. I have seen two big cats though, a black leopard near Edenbridge in Kent and a lynx from along a windy lane in Wales. Both times I was driving so not on the look out for birds or any other creatures. Nearby a few years ago we 'supposedly' had the 'St. Osyth Lion' but as you rightly say, so many things are fabricated for publicity etc. I knew there wouldn't be a lion out there so no way was I going to travel a mile and a half to look for it. Keep up your good work and I am still happily subscribed.

I agree, I'm absolutely sure that if there were big cats wandering around the countryside there would be more attacks on animals and people. Having said that I don't deny that some idiot people have in the past let these animals out but it's pretty difficult to transport any big cat through ports in the UK. And anyone who does own an exotic animal of this calibre are monitored by authorities. And seriously how the hell do they breed with just a limited number? England is hardly the serengeti. Not a big cat watcher come across this channel by chance! If I do encounter one I'll let you all know

Sounds like you lost faith in big cats in the UK. I did a little bit of research myself a few years ago and spoke to Gloucestershire constabulary who told me they believe there are at least a couple of leopards roaming the Forest of Dean.

The problem with saying its a bengal cat is that the colouring doesnt match and neither does the tail.

Cult is a following of 1 person, so if these groups are ran by 1 person they are indeed a cult.

So I just need to confirm - you don't make big cat videos anymore because of the other fake ones, and because you don't like the people in the facebook groups. But why did that stop you making the videos? (I've not seen anything else from you but assume you used to make them about big cat sightings?) Does this mean you were a 'believer' and now you're not?
Honestly I'm curious! I get that you don't like all the nutters or hoax videos but what is your position on big cats, have you decided they definitely aren't around?
(I've not seen one myself but got talking to someone recently about it all and realised lots of people do seem to see them, hence my exploration of RUclips)

The further down the rabbit hole you go the more you realise it's all a load of bollocks. I was interested in the idea and was put off over time due to people mostly. 'Experts' say there are over 100 breeding animals etc with no evidence, outsource that to America and they just laugh at us. Watch 'Chasing Shadows' by Biome, the fella at the end will basically rip it to shreds for you. I have an interview with Chris Sperring MBE on this channel too who also rips it to shreds. Any reputable wildlife nut will in all honesty

@@WildlifeWithCookie that's interesting, I was just watching that this morning! Where he talks about the wild boar? Yeah that looked fake. But lots of other stories have seemed more credible. I think I'm convinced by the release theory, just find it hard to believe there would be enough out there to breed. Sad, as that would be exciting! Oh well 🤷‍♀️

I've got to disagree on the Facebook groups though, I joined some a few months ago and they all seem nice enough! Obviously people argue a bit over dodgy videos but nothing too crazy

@@WildlifeWithCookie it's not the subject matter that's bollocks dude it's the sniping and bitching that happens when they all want to be the person to prove it, the subject has only managed to last so long because few people spend enough time really looking into it ,experts on the whole are in my opinion are Gatherers and relayers of information very rarely are they the people doing ground work, Ask an expert for a picture of their own ? Anyhow i agree with the masses on this really , You should continue with the subject ,you do it well nothing like going to a location to get the real perspective ATB

Yes, and 99.99% of those likely just saw either a black domestic cat or a black labrador.
There's zero evidence there's any sort of big cat in the UK, and they couldn't even live in the UK anyway, due to our climate, population density, and probable lack of prey.
