Traditional looks better tailored and more luxe. The modern qipao lack a structure and look more slumpy almost party city costume-like. Maybe if they were remade with a different fabric? The sewing on the traditional make it look absolutely elegant and timeless ❤
Modern though you missed the most popular modern style that a lot of 20 somethings from the mainland wear. The ones you chose look more like slight moderations as opposed to an actual revamp.

The traditional ones are beautiful, and you look stunning in them. I only liked the first (green) one out of the 'modern' styles. The last two looked cheap and costume-y.
Why does everything have to be sexy and show more skin to be "modern"? The "traditional" ones you're showing are already the modernized versions of Qing Dynasty dress.
