I actually reckon Joe would benefit from making a 2nd channel where he could put less effort in and try and get his enjoyment back. The content could literally be anything from a game of Fifa to talking about a random topic.

This series is the best honestly. I love the in depth analysis of things in life and the introspection of themselves and the fact it can change from a serious topic to having a laugh about something silly. Really do hope this continues.

I think that Joe's "problem" is that he is goal/target orientated. So for example, he started making youtube videos to prove his quality, that was his motivation, then when that was achieved the motivation went. With the boxing, he had the goal of beating JJ, then that was done so his motivation went. He constantly puts on weight then has a goal to get back in shape, then once back in shape is de-motivated by going to the gym so stops, etc etc. The only way really to overcome this is to constantly have goals/targets/something to look forward to. Would recommend having a wafflin' based goal, maybe target to get X amount of guests on by September, or reach 2mill subs by end of 2020?

I don’t think numbers should be the goal tbh, I personally keep preoccupied most days a week, whether it’s 5 aside or cricket, going to a pub quiz or interest in combat sports. I’m finding that doing all these things stops you from overthinking things and also sparks interests. Then once you find something you’re really interested in, make videos talking about it and it’s passion based, those videos make the best videos.

Times have definitely changed for the worse in many aspects, but at least you have a coherent audience over here lol.

When you said about how you worry about how you appear on camera, I really relate to. Although I am not a youtuber, I go to a dance college where I constantly have to look at myself in the mirror. Therefore I feel like i am not committing to myself fully as I have that reminder of what people may think about me. Yes i am a firm believer of not caring about what others think, its the overall self awareness and judgement of myself. Anyway, just thought I would share this :)

Its true, Joe's potential is so huge and is truly the only youtuber I would sit and watch talk for hours because I can see how real he is. Been watching him since he was making videos at 16 and watching his growth has been mental yet inspiring. Need more youtubers like Joe who do actually make quality content and give us their true thoughts, feelings and dilemmas on camera. Its reassuring to see that even someone like Joe who seems secure within himself still questions his morals and motives in life and i enjoy listening to him speak about this and work it out with Theo. Also, Theo is a quality friend, everyone needs a friend like Theo, we need more people like Theo. Overall big up to both of you and even though you're not the biggest youtubers I can easily say your both the realist. Both deserve the world and I hope they get it x

I had something happen to me that was similar to the first email. Basically i'll keep it short but she pretended to swallow then probably like 2 mins after we went to kiss and she transfered the payload from her mouth into mine then ran into the bathroom laughing. Worse thing was that she locked the door so i had to spit into a tissue and run downstairs to the kitchen to wash my mouth out. Absolutely ferrell.

Been watching Joe for a while. I totally get what he's saying about moving forward, a career prospect is positive. It's his personality that he's incorporated into his videos, since the beginning, that has got him noticed, particularly with colabs and mucking about with friends. - My personal opinion.
Adding to that, watching the best of youtube doubting the format is a true reflection of how the site is heading. it's so much more corporate than when I started watching and when Joe started producing videos. the new generation only know the corporate youtube and I think that's where original youtubers are getting frustrated, for good reason, as well as the having to keep up with the demand increase, and professional edit style that's now expected to exceed - just as a thought. Natural progression has turned youtube into a business and a job more than the hobby/indi content provider it was originally. The advocate to that is there's more money to be made, making it a catch-22.
