I think the fact Joe talks so openly about mental health is so important. It could mean 2 young lads, who don't talk about their feelings and insecurities because it's not "cool", might be watching and look at each other and go "You know what mate, I feel like that sometimes. Can I talk to you about it?" And since they've seen someone they think is cool, and that he doesn't get the piss taken out of him for talking about it, they can start that conversation.

Never have I actively gone out and tried to give Joe Weller a chance and watched him. This podcast single handedly has taught me to not judge, realise that people can change and that Joe genuinely cares about Jack's mental health. The way he was asking him and trying to persuade him to seek out therapy made me quite emotional. It's good and refreshing to see males be OK with their feelings, emotions, depression, anxiety, mental health. Thanks for this episode.

I felt that Jack really resonated with this, like the understanding was so strong that Jack himself could do the same. They both give off that 'I don't mind cause I trust my community' vibe when they do so and its really nice to see.

If, like Jack, you know deep down that the stuff you’re thinking doesn’t make any sense then there’s going to be a way to treat it and that’s what mental health professionals are there for. However that’s not to say you can’t tackle it yourself, because recognising and understanding the way you feel is key, and will allow you to see from a more positive and hopeful perspective

    Hi Jack,
Just wanted to say thank you so much for opening up and talking about OCD, I also have had OCD from a young age where I used to be terrified of the rain and natural disasters it used to effect me a lot from primary school though to secondary where every time it would rain I thought me and everyone else was going to suddenly die which used to cause extreme panic attacks I used to have a 40 minute routine before bed where I would have to touch things a certain amount of times, close cupboards a certain way, check the news 10 times just before I could sleep
me, my school and family never knew what it was until I was diagnosed with OCD. now I am 20 I have learnt to deal with it a lot better and I am completely fine with the rain and natural disasters and although it took me years to overcome and those horrible intrusive thoughts which changed a lot before it got better. it is now at a point where it is under control and I have learnt with help how to keep those thoughts out of my head.
Thank you so much for talking about OCD as it is so important for people to understand how complex it can be and this is the first time I have commented on a video about my own OCD,

Don’t usually watch podcasts but watched this all the way through, great chemistry between you all and at the end Joe was super supportive of Jack and may have even encouraged me to see a doctor myself 😂

I've been watching both you and Joe for years now, literally grown up with you (I'm 28) - and I know how patronising this sounds and I really don't mean it to, but I am so proud of both of you for speaking so openly and honestly about what you both have and still go through. It takes a lot to do it and I just wanted to say that I think you're both genuinely top lads and I'm this was literally the first ever podcast I've sat the whole way through. Loved the honesty and organic flow of conversation between you both. Well done Jack!

I really respect Jack for opening up about his OCD. As someone who’s diagnosed with OCD I appreciate how hard it can be to open up about, especially when it comes to extreme experiences with intrusive thoughts.

this is my favourite episode of any podcast ever. joe weller is my favourite content creator and internet personality, he's so raw and open but also has a lot of charisma. started watching in my teens and i feel like he's grown with his audience quite naturally despite how he feels. here's what i think joe should do - firstly, carry on with wafflin. joe thrives in conversation and i love to see him ask weird questions and speculate about things and people on his podcast. i also think that he should do more long-term projects for his main channel, joe is very good at analysing current affairs on youtube and connecting with other youtubers so it would be so cool to see him do some documentaries on other youtubers or something, kinda like shane dawson but i feel like joe's ones would be way more authentic. just an idea
