This latest domestic cannon howitzer was exhibited at the tactical and technical assembly in Krusevac on the occasion of the Serbian holiday of Vidovdan.
Although it has become clear to the general public since the beginning of this year that in addition to the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, the Serbian Armed Forces will procure these modern self-propelled howitzers for their needs in the coming period, it remains unclear to this day when this will happen.
When it was first shown to the public at the Partner 2023, it became known that this self-propelled gun howitzer was named Nora "Perun", although earlier it was a self-propelled howitzer NORA B-52 M21 that was tested and called Perun in US.
The NORA NG Perun has the same caliber of 155 millimeters as its predecessors from the NORA family, and its maximum range with rocket-propelled VLAP ammunition is over 50 kilometers.

Ova najnovija domaća top-haubica je bila izložena na taktičko-tehničkom zboru u Kruševcu povodom srpskog praznika Vidovdana.
Iako je već od početka ove godine postalo jasno i široj javnosti da će pored oružanih snaga Azerbejdžana i Vojska Srbije u narednom periodu nabavljati ove savremene samohodne top-haubice za svoje potrebe do danas je ostalo nejasno kada će se to i dogoditi.
Kada je prvi put prikazana javnosti na sajmu naoružanja i vojne opreme Partner 2023 se saznalo da je ova samohodna top-haubica nazvana Nora "Perun" iako je ranije samohodna top-haubica NORA B-52 M21 koja je testirana i u Americi nazivana Perun.
NORA NG Perun ima isti kalibar od 155 milimetara kao i svoje prethodnice iz familije NORA, a njen maksimalni domet sa raketiziranom VLAP municijom je i preko 50 kilometara.
Od samohodne top-haubice "Perun" u Vojsci Srbije očekuju da će dodatno unaprediti sposobnosti srpskih oružanih snaga, ali i da će biti i veoma prodavana na svetskom tržištu naoružanja.
