Best breakdown of the Suns I have seen, as the Olympics are showing Book and KD are other worldly players if Brad Beal and everyone fall in line with a great point guard in Tyus Jones they are legitimate contenders .
Well it's mainly because they want to see KD fail (they'll never let 2016 go) and they think this is a "superteam" when it isnt. Oh also throw in the conspiracy theories about the league somehow being against small market teams when at least 4 of the last 6 championships were won by small market teams.
Thats only if you believe in devin booker, a player who cant guard 1-5, cant guard the perimeter, d9nt make players bettter himts his +/- like 10 years in, and when forced to play make turns the ball over at a highlevel himts the point book bullsht. If you cant see who booker is a decade in your a casual😂😂😂😂
Mat Ishbia didn't make changes simply to put his stamp on the team. He wants to win and is driven to do so. Great citizen and human being. Put Suns on free tv, bought antennas for those needing them, donated a hundred thousand to bright night less fortunate kids, he is good for Phoenix and basketball period! I take offense at slighting him even in the least. Also you missed mentioning Plumblee at backup center besides others. Otherwise the video is alright. Just had to stick up for our owner here though he is appreciated.
You mentioned everything i think will make next year's Suns a formidable opponent (no matter how much people want to write them off). From top to bottom they've made major changes. Frank Vogel was not the right guy for this team. Frank is a defense ONLY coach that would've required Ayton to still be on the roster in order to do well. With KD, Book and Beal under Frank, they underachieved offensively despite finishing 10th in offense. Coach Bud is a great coach. He got coached the Bucks into the 2021 finals without Giannis in the ECF series and has more of a balanced coaching ideology. Not to mention he's coached lesser teams into GREAT seasons. Like that Hawks team he had before coaching the Bucks. The next issue was the TOs. Our PGs were the talk of the Suns offseason, so not much really needs to be said there. Also replaced our backup center with Mason Plumlee who's a decent defender.
You forgot to mention their weakness last year in the paint.. Suns were near the bottom of the league in paint scoring, rebounding and defense.. mostly when nurkic left the floor for a breather.. so they picked up Plumlee to back him up.. which will be HUGE..I predict 55-60 wins and a trip to the WCF at the very least
Suns biggest weakness last year was praying all Nurkic minutes mitigated Eubanks minutes, almost every single game the blowout/lead loss occurred in Eubanks minutes (league wide worst +/- btw), having competent bench minutes with Monte and Plumlee, having even more flexibility with Tyus to help the starters not stagnate either, as well as having a year of experience with what doesn't work, I like our chances way more than last year. Not including if any of our draft picks can contribute year one, Dunn is questionable with his offense, Oso is a 50/50 since he kinda in between positions, and ironically Bridges can be a great 3 and D player despite being on a "two way"
Been a Suns fan for 50 years, I temper my expectations every year even if we have some of the best players in the league. I'm not saying there is a curse, but there is something. 😉
@@Tyrece_Huggins the suns had a top ten defense the second half of the season last year. No one is saying there the next Detroit pistons but their defense with this added piece should be respectable
1. Suns ranked 13th in opponents points per game and defensive rating. With a full season of Royce O'Neale and limiting turnovers, they could slightly improve in these categories. 2. added a couple reliable point guards that don't take too many shots. pretty good fit. 3. last season Durant played 75 games, Booked played 68 games, Allen played 75 games, Nurkic played 76 games and Beal played 53 games. Only Allen was unavailable come playoff time. Durant and Beal are definitely injury prone which is a concern but I don't think their underperformance last season was related to injuries.
Phoenix suns gm James Jones need to watch last year Phoenix vs lakers the only player can guard lebron is Kevin durant but you don't won't kd guarding him the hold game that the problem fix the power forward position get wing with length and size man
Dont fool yourselves , the Suns are not title contenders...the Beal trade is what screwed them from having a homerun off-season. The did good with there extremely limited options. Just imagine this team with Paul George instead of Beal..😮
They literally didn't have a rotation player smaller than Eric Gordon at 6'3 last season.... They did get smaller though by signing Jones and Morris though.
What makes these moves incredible is that we’re in the second apron. Not to mention tyus had 10M+ offers from other teams but chose us for the vet minimum
@@ImRonnieRay are we really saying they made incredible moves when they just signed 2 mediocre backup guards? That surely wasn’t the issue with last seasons team. They cannot play defense that is their biggest issue.
@@Otmitch77maybe you should try listening to the video. Their half court defense was good last season. It was the fact they gave up 20ppg of turnovers.

The Suns are cooking up something special.
He didn’t trade Ayton for Nurkic. He traded Ayton for Nurkic AND Grayson Allen. Allen was a huge asset for the Suns last season.

A lot of people are writing off the suns. I have a feeling they will surprise teams. With Tyus and Monte, the full force of the big 3 will be felt.
Yup😂😂😂

Best analysis I have seen, I totally agree with you. Super breakdown🏀🙏

Don’t forget they drafted Ryan Dunn as a big defensive wing, another key piece they were missing

Suns will be great if Beal come of the bench. Also the suns should try to sign those 2 players : Guerschon Yabusele and Aleksa Avramović.
I hope so I just want to see my team win a chip 🥲

Book would be terrible as a SF, Beal coming off the bench as a 6th man. Book and KD are way better in their natural positions.
