    Congratulations on the new job! I know what you mean when you say that staying is here is quite an adjustment if one is used to city life. We arrived in Moncton last December and my wife started her online classes by January. She taking up Masters of Management in Crandall as well. Hopefully we get settled soon....Covid and the weekly snow storms aren't helping...stay safe!

      @@sweetlifeincanada She's studying fully online this semester. We went to Crandall a couple of times to get books etc. Nice campus and she's enjoying going back to school again. Lots of reports and quizzes haha good luck on your PR application this March! Take it easy and hopefully you enjoy having your new apartment and not get hassled by housemates.

    hi! just wondering about the PGWP application timeline. i thought that if you havent gotten the decision on your PGWP yet when your SP expires, as long as your application is alrdy submitted, you'll be on "implied status"?

    • @sweetlifeincanada
      @sweetlifeincanada  2 года назад

      That’s what my friend did last year. I can double check with her if it was really needed cause she applied for an extension . But based from my experience when I was onboarding for work, I’m already on implied status apparently even with still a valid permit.

    I just moved last month here in Moncton as a new immigrant with PR but now I'm here alone I got depressed I do't know what to do to stay here or go some other city...

      I totally feel you. It’s been the same for me. Tap through any new hobbies or travel if you must. If you want to go to the nearest liveliest city, Halifax in Nova Scotia is the way to go.
