I'm part of that 'older' crowd, but it's not easy for me either to strike up a conversation. I can fake it if I have to but it can be awkward lol. It's funny, the internet and social media actually gave me a way to practice small talk without the discomfort. Loving your channel. I'm watching your subs take off! Congrats.
Strangers are just friends you haven’t met yet. Like minded people are always easier to talk to, so just go introduce yourself to your camp neighbours. That’s one great thing with having a dog. They’re great companions and make it easy to stroke up a conversation with other dog owners.
Really enjoy your Channel although I am a new sub...came over from Kenny of all trades.... U are living the dream....looking forward to more Videos....best wishes from Europe
I might be the only person to ever upgrade to a truck camper. I’ve been a truck driver for 10 years. Gave up a fixed address when I started. Last year I bought a lance 1172 that lives at the truck yard. It’s been nice having more room than the truck. Likely should have not gone with slides.
Hey, Kevin. I'm no different as far as being social goes. I sooo get how you feel. I have no issues at all with being solitary but at times a person just has to stick your neck out. I admire you for just being true to you! I'm a country girl stuck in the city. I'm a little jealous! Lol!
Your channel was recommended by Kenny of all trades. Quite the lifestyle. But not for me. I have a nice truck camper but don’t want to live in it. Bought my first truck camper 5 yrs ago. A Lance 992. Used it a few times. Decided to order a new one. Traded ours in on a 2022 Lance 1172. 4 season. Solar panels lithium batteries it has two slides so lots of room inside. My truck got written off in an accident in February. Bought a new GMC 3500 dually 5200 lb payload helps carry my 5000lb camper. I put 7500 lb airbags on my truck to help carry the weight. I’m a newbie at truck camping nice to learn from someone who has one. We have a 2500 watt propane generator too. Safe travels.
I am new to the channel, just joined. On your topic of getting a 4x4 truck, I see what you are saying,I don’t use the 4 wheel drive much, but when you need it, I am glad I got it. I have been in some icy places that have challenged all 4 having chains! A 2 wheel drive just wouldn’t have made it. Great video!
Awesome video, Kevin. You have a beautiful soul. Super genuine. I just had a two week solo vacation. It was awesome! You’re inspiration, friend. Plus, I love the music you play on your videos. Keep posting! J,
Great informational video. Next august going to be an adventure, going to one with the squirrels. Travelling to calgary for wedge camper install & spending the rest of august camping in & around calgary. Hopefully 220w of solar & 1000w power station going to keep my 53L fridge working at least for a month.

Hello Kevin, Another GREAT video. Thanks for all the insight. Sure makes me want to pack up and hit the road in my TC. I hope to be in Yellowstone NP at the end of September for the Elk Rut. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
Really enjoy watching your videos, just bought a 2nd hand F-350 and a used Northern Lite Camper 9' 6" special edition. So excited to get on the road. You have been both entertaining and helpfull with your solar etc. advice. When I watch these video's I escape fore a moment. Keep up the great work.-----SV
I am a big introvert. I can go for weeks by myself. I recently got a GF, that is like minded, her and I get along great but we both get time alone to recharge. I enjoy the company though. We are both nudist too, so being by ourselves allows more of that lifestyle, that we don’t have to go to the villages in Florida and other states to be “free”. Quartzite in AZ has the Magic Circle, for the snowbirds. We go there too. We have enjoyed very rural Canada too!
Sometimes I strike up a conversation with someone and then regret it, so being around people is enough you don't always have to get into conversation. Let them come to you, putting the phone down opens the door. I have been following you for a bit and Kenny Of All Trades mentioned you so your style is recognized. I think there is a silent majority that wants to just take a step back from all the craziness in the world today.
