You need to do a video about the murals. The mural walk is important here. Also there is a sensory garden maintained by the garden club, and the plantings downtown are all maintained by the DeLand garden club. DeLand is the one of the first (maybe the first monarch city in Florida.) Stetson University has wonderful concerts through their school of music. There is a mineral museum at Stetson University as well. The downtown area has several small parks, including chess park. Which has chess boards.
We have a huge flea market at the Volusia fair grounds it’s huge too. Barberville emporium is cool but you hit some great job Hontoon island area is the top place to live. Thats why thier are 5 marinas around it
Thanks for your question. Humidity is pretty much always high here in the summer months. It can get up to 90% in July and August. Thankfully we have air conditioning everywhere. If you want to go outside, early mornings are best. Afternoon thunderstorms are common. The beautiful Fall, Winter and Spring weather make it all worth it. to me. Average highs in the winter are upper 60s to low 70s. It can get down to the 40s at night sometimes but average low is more in the 50s.

Those are some great ideas! Thank you for your comment.
nice video. We are considering DeLand. The amazing new build real estate has incredible affordable prices....compared to Miami, West Palm, etc.
Thanks. Come on up, we'd love to show you some homes in DeLand! Chuck - 352-250-9617

Very good video. Been in DeLand since 1987. Don’t forget Pat and Tony’s Sweet Things to get a chocolate treat for the ride home.
Thanks! Pat and Toni's is a great idea.
You forgot to mention the restaurants….Tom’s Pizza on Rich ave, Bellybuster’s and Won Lee’s and Rodeo Whip for their ice cream
I've got another video that covers DeLand's Best Restaurants! ruclips.net/video/-e9MDdPNcmU/видео.html

This is a great video but you seemed to forget all of these positives in the 7 reasons NOT to move to DeLand.
Thanks for your comment. Different topic. Really, I love Deland!
I loved all of them. Haven't made it to the reptile center, but I'd love to go one day.
It's hard to pick a favorite. You should definitely go to the reptile center.
This is really great Chuck
Thanks Mark!
