Rising rock band The Band Feel has dropped their debut self-titled EP, 'THE BAND FEEL', featuring six new tracks and a music video for the lead single, 'In The Garden.'
The group has exploded onto the rock scene, earning a viral following with electrifying live performances that have garnered over 250,000 new followers and nearly 40-million views this year.
SWOMP caught up with Garrett Barcus, lead singer, for an interview.
Blending influences from rock legends like Led Zeppelin and The Black Crowes, The Band Feel delivers a sound that captures the raw energy of late ’60s and ’70s rock, with up-tempo guitar riffs, acoustic-driven melodies, and progressive elements layered with R&B and soul.
The EP was produced by five-time Grammy-nominated and ASCAP award-winning producer Paul Moak at The Smokestack in Nashville.
Known for his work with Ann Wilson of Heart, Dolly Parton, Blake Shelton, Joy Williams, and others, Moak helped craft the band’s energetic and nostalgic rock style.
Fans can catch The Band Feel on Dirty Honey’s “Can’t Find The Breaks” U.S. tour this fall, where they are serving as the direct support act.
In addition to select headlining dates, they will also open for ZZ Top in their hometown of St. Louis at The Factory on November 14.
