Glad to hear this interview with Rick Haynes. I met Rick briefly at the Little River Casino in Michigan years ago after the show. He was in the cafeteria getting a coffee. Very polite man. It was wonderful to meet a legend bass player. I’m happy the band is continuing to play.

Lawrence has been playing and honoring the original music of the band for over 20 years. DDY could not fulfill the touring the reason why he was pushed out of the band he couldn't keep up with the momentum and trajectory the band was on. Since Dennis left the band Styx has released 3 Great Albums and an excellent EP. The writing and performance has been equally distributed as a group with love and camaraderie which totally shows through in everything they do. So All of you Dennis DeYoung fans please stop putting out all of the negativity. Dennis's contribution is not forgotten only honored by the band still keeping his vision relevant. BTW Chuck still performs with them in a limited capacity due to health issues.

NOT Styx without Dennis DeYoung or a Panozzo brother in sight.
