That was awesome...love how creative people can be! I think tilting the bow towards the arrows was probably the best way to use this quiver.
Probably, but it's more movement to do and it always introduce more problems :(
@@CharliesRunningArchery aah that makes sense. I think for static shooting the quiver could work, however for fast shooting and running it obviously has its issues.
Maybe it makes a difference where the arrows latch into the quiver. It might be better super close to the fletchings, or might be better closer to the middle of the arrow.
Good idea!
Cool idea
Great review Charlie! I never thought to put the armband on your forearm, great idea. I originally had two clips to hold the arrow but it made it too hard to pull the arrow out. I will try your belt idea for the next project!
Thanks for a chance to make the test, Jamie! Looking forward for the belt :)
Try a cone shaped bag with a broad brim and a smaller opening at the bottom and attach it to your arm.
Do you have a link to a such a thing?
This quiver is very efficient with 'Arondir's technique' and 'Dagger Style'
Yes, agree :)
Two years ago I bought a rifle ammo holder and put it on my arm with arrows in it exactly like this. It was a trash idea.
Keep experimenting :)
They could improve it by putting on two points of grip per arrow about an inch to two inches apart.
Jamie reacted above that he tried but it was hard to pull an arrow out.
Belt/Hip Quiver is the best.
Planning to try one :)
It’s a charming idea, but the arrows make too much noise for my ears 😁
Thank you so much for your enthusiasm, dear Charlie! ☺️🙏🙏
Haha, dear sister! This idea haven't crossed my mind up until now. It's really loud!
@@CharliesRunningArchery 👊😁 But it looks cool somehow!
Why not just turn it into an arm quiver "QUIVER"??? However, this is brilliant.
Happy you like :)
Moc sa mi to nepaci. Ak to vyuzit tak jedine pri style kde sa nasadzuje sip zlava.
Šlo to i zprava a nebylo to vůbec špatné. Chce to jen trochu cviku a využít to tam, kde to má smysl.
What bow is that?
Metbows turkish bow :)
@@CharliesRunningArchery thanks!
Quiver on the back is not normal.
It's psudo normal. Agree.
to be fair that just looks silly to i mate, i can already see more than one way it will fail especially outside of a range/ shooting line type of scenario.
agreed. imagine having real heads. just asking for trouble
Yes, there are too many scenarios for it to fail. Also, I love the creativity and testing out new things to find a way to be better and faster and make my archery life easier.
@@CharliesRunningArchery im about to learn leather craft. also an archer, im on it lads, im on it.
It's not for me I don't like the idea of poking, distracting and possibly endangering other archers who are shooting alongside me! 😕
I shoot 100% of the time alone. So I really do not care about this effect. I haven't feel distracted at all. It's intuitive and simple. Yet not ideal for all scenarios.
That isn't a "hack"
Thanks to ministry of hacks for disapproval :)
@@CharliesRunningArchery Hey, always happy to help people use language correctly! :)
Beyond that, actually a very interesting topic. Looks a bit unwieldy to me, but whatever works works.
