  • The Volt Pool Vacuum FX 8LI Waterch doesn’t need hoses… it's rechargeable… and it has a lithium battery. In this video, I show you how it works (and use it on my pool). I have used the smaller version of this pool vacuum before, and in the video, I tell you how the experience was (including one thing you should watch out for).
    ➡️ As I open up the Volt FX 8LI, I discuss its new features and how they make the cleaning experience easier. After giving you some useful facts about the vacuum cleaner, I give you a demonstration of how it works… and show you the result it produces.
    I had the smaller model Volt 4 for the past 3 seasons and it has proven itself time and time again to take care of all of my pool cleaning needs. Now I am upgrading to the 8 series.
    Watch the video to see all the facts and demonstrations!

    Just ordered the 8 - week use Ocion Copper in our in ground pool, with this unit I won’t be losing the copper content to waste when using my skimmer and hose for vacuuming. 👍🇨🇦👍

    I am looking at getting the fx4 or fx8 or both. Do you still like this? I want it for quick touch ups and the spa. I feel the smaller one would be better for spa?

    • @showitkukla
      @showitkukla  5 месяцев назад

      I prefer the Fx4 over the Fx8, the 4 is easier to use and move. The Fx8 was not getting all the spots needed in my spa and I felt the suction was not as good based on the design of the head.

    Will this vac clean up algae dust off the bottom of the pool without spewing ti back into the water?

    • @showitkukla
      @showitkukla  5 месяцев назад

      In my pool I was able to pick up the dust if I drove straight at it because water is flowing out the top to create the suction into the waste bag. It was able to pick up firework powder which is even finer than the algae dust. I love the Fx4 more than the Fx8.

      @@rich2209 I don’t have algae so I’m guessing it helps prevent the build up of it. Hope that helps.

    We have 2 large Oak Trees next to our pool. Is the opening large enough for full size acorns?

    • @showitkukla
      @showitkukla  5 месяцев назад

      I don't believe you would be able to suck that up because the clearance is minimal to keep good suction. I would say to use your net first and then vac.

  • @pastoreddiew2355

    How do you keep the debris from coming out of the vac? I use mine and when I bring it out of the water, the rap comes out from the unit ….

    • @showitkukla

      Sorry to hear that. I have not experienced any issues like that. I pull mine straight out and lay it flat on my pool deck. Hope that helps.

      Eddie I’m having the same exact problem I just have my son hold a big nut under it as I’m pulling it out to catch all the debris

  • @ThunderStruckGaming

    Every time I use this it works great until I pull it up and all the debris just falls out into the pool again 😐

    • @showitkukla
      @showitkukla  Год назад +2

      I have not had that problem. Maybe check to see that the bag is fully seat. I pull the vacuum straight out so the debris doesn’t come out the blower gills.

    Im looking at the 4 and 8. Is the 8 worth the price difference?

    • @showitkukla
      @showitkukla  Год назад

      I prefer the 4 better than the 8, it is more maneuverable in my opinion.

    • @iluvwanesworld
      @iluvwanesworld Год назад

      I’m using it for our water feature in our backyard it’s only about a little over a foot deep. So I know I’m gonna have to keep it at a 45° angle to keep it submerged. I’m really looking mostly for suction. Did the eight have a lot more suction than the four? If so what was the difference in price.? Thank you

    • @RussC123
      @RussC123 9 месяцев назад

      @@showitkuklaI’m in the same boat-
      1) Would you say the 8 has significantly more suction power than the 4.. or is the 4 plenty adequate?
      2) Do you think either of these would be good for collecting the fine “clumps” of dead algae that sometimes accumulate after shocking, or do you think dead algae particles are too small and would pass right through the filter netting?

    • @showitkukla
      @showitkukla  9 месяцев назад +1

      I purchased the 4 again, I feel that one has better suction but a smaller vac head. The 8 crapped out and was not as good. The 4 can suck up small particles and firework sulfur and large leaves and worms. Totally recommend the 4 over the 8@@RussC123
