In Japanese mythology, black panthers are known to be able to cross dimensions since they can both walk on land and climb up trees. So the panther might not be part of the game and just got there accidentally.

I read a fan theory saying that maybe her dad successfully climbed the mountain a second time but sometime during that went “missing” and got blipped into the game like they did. So maybe her dad is in the game somewhere? That would be so dope
I wanna point out that in the manga usagi walked in on her dad after he hung himself. They cencored it in the live action so he is probably dead, unless they decided to go a different route in the live action obviously. Theoretically he could still be alive in this version but tbh I doupt it.
The people behind the game really made the players think that they were going to the right way. They had that replenishment station and all, misleading them. The players should really consider what type of the game it is based on the cards. It's a Clubs, it's a team game not a physical one.

While watching this reaction I just suddenly realised, what if the guy who had sprained his leg, was actually a dealer and knew about this game and the goal! But because they cannot reveal and to live he came up with the sprain and stayed inside the bus (Goal). Because to be honest from the beginning something seemed off about him!
In the manga, the King of Diamond was the one in the game that "sprained" his leg. He know what the answer is so he just opt to sit in the bus. And because he saw the good in Arisu, he still do the same thing with Chisiya in their final game. I think the filmmaker didnt want to make the KoDiamond too distrusting and manipulating , I guess.
@@nguyendi92 no, in the manga arisu and other main character is not in the story. As far as i remember, this is one of the side story and the protagonist of this side story died in the end. Im not really sure tho its been years

this is just my pov as I relate too much with arisu I think saying he's being selfish is neglecting his mental stability... we should know that not everybody is the same, our minds don't work the same too. some people are mentally ill to the point that just the lost of something important can change a whole perspective of reality. losing the only ppl who believed in you could cost A LOT.

Nah in the manga he killed himself which resulted in Usagi experiencing the same grief Arisu did. Because she found his body.
