Hello, I have got a 2013 Ford Kuga with the same Sony radio. I would like to know what radio model you have put on it and if the car's standard rear camera works or needs to be changed, thank you very much for the video.
The voice command from your steering wheel, does not work with this unit. I found pressing the button brought sync up on the screen display and mutes everything for a few seconds. All other steering wheel control buttons work fine. I have disabled the sync on mine (easy to do via setting, apps screen) as I kept pressing the voice calling button by mistake when wanting to change volume etc. Now the button does nothing.
Hi love the install have exactly the same standard stereo setup, i have gone through your link to order and it is all in American dollars even when I select the country, just abit worried about spending a monkey and it not turning up? And just wanted to ask it comes with everything to complete the install no other connections to buy? Thanks
Hello, when I bought mine, I selected GB and it shown the price in pounds. Mine took around 3 to 4 weeks to arrive. It comes with everything needed to fit, including dashboard panels. The only extras you need to buy if you want them is a camera for reverse cam and DAB module for DAB radio. Satnav needs to be downloaded from Google playstore, as it only comes with Google maps and you need to use your mobile phone as a hotspot to use the data for that. I use Sygic on mine which so far has been very good and updates regularly. I update my apps using the wifi from home or use my mobile as a hotspot (I have the hotspot set to come on automatically when the unit connects via bluetooth to my phone, macrodroid app on my phone switches off wifi automatically and hotspot on using the bluetooth connection to the headunit as a trigger)
Won't the unit connect to the reverse camera that the car already has because that looks like a titanium x model which will already have a camera? And will it work an a 2014 64 plate ford b max titanium x model?
You are right it is a Titanium X but didn't come with the reverse cam as standard. The X Sport Kuga comes with reverse cam as standard. I have a reverse cam fitted to this unit now and it works well, but I don't know if it would work with a factory fit camera, as I don't know how they originally connect to the head unit. This unit takes an RCA feed for the camera
Hello I have a similar unit, do you know if the swc are resistive or they go through the canbus? I can't seem to figure out how to configure the swc. Thank you!
No, it comes with a canbus box, which plugs in with the supplied wiring harness. Steering wheel buttons, plus buttons on the panel all work without any setting up or extra wiring
i have two questions i have a kuga 2013 with active parking what shows on the display when the system is in auto park mode where the car parks by it self does this still work with this unit and i have no rear camera only the parking sensors with the car symbol and the green yellow and red bars that show how close you are to an obstacle does this still show when i put it in reverse or do i need a rear camera

@@matteoxyz3953 mine was a little quiet, so I have connected the external mic but not tried it yet, but when the external mic is connected, the one on the front of the unit still works also, so should be better.

Yes, our gps antenna in this position take the signal well. It will come with special harness and canbus box. Just plug and play.
Only one side of the canbus box plugs in, the other side is left empty and all works well
Gps works well in this position and keeps it hidden
