better late than never. Isn't she an amazing human being, so beautiful and so talented and the "old" voice-I take it you were impressed! I listen to her nearly every day especially since Leonard Cohen passed. Like Marianne I have my addictions. I finally just this morning found some photos of her inside Shell Cottage- check them out- a fairy tale sort of place for an unusual woman! Otherworldly - ah she mentioned Shell here! Not only is she stunning and talented unlike so many contemporary singers- she is highly intelligent too- read anything she reads- you won't be bored. (I realize I have a bloody cheek- obviously I am one of her oldest and most loyal fans) Nice to meet you. Wasn't that awful about Harry- I am still a huge fan of his and of course Tom Waits- his material is so perfect for her-

Lucky duck. Sadly I have never seen her in concert. I must live vicariously through this medium and the odd DVD. I adore her and am sadly (age!) one of her most loyal and oldest- not her age but not 25 either!fans. I am always stunned at how beautiful she still is- her life hasn't been an easy one- so many health issues etc. Truly an iconic woman of beauty, wit, warmth and passion.
