I miss this game so much. I"m 27 now, i know i'm growing old but this is the first game I actually owned when i was younger. It's the game that got me into gaming and loved gaming ever since. What a great game playing against teams like BsE; RNX, RaW and many more. This was just pure awesomeness and to me the best game ever made till today.
This brings back the memories. I remember playing this Back in '06 on the PS2. I had so much fun, had so many friends on there, such great times. My definate first person shooter. I miss it so much. I think I speak for all the Veterans of BF2MC when I say this game was pure awesome, and it will be missed...

don't know if you've been answered yet but Apaches are American attack choppers but on 360 it's the upgraded Apache Longbow hence the Radar on the top of the chopper

did you know on Modern Warfare 2 that when you (im guessing) get a 7 or 10 kill streak, you can order a gunship to fly around and you use the guns on the ship instead of just like a airstrike.
either its a huge bug or it might be becouse you leave the game server before it ends then your score is not saved unless you go back into the game (if you have not disconnected)
This game was awesome. I loved the ability to switch to any player on the field at the same time, really great pace of gameplay. Made it really unique too.
I'm picking up BF3 for PC and 360, but since 360 is going to have 24 players, they really should bring back "Back Stab, Bridge Too Far, Spec OP,and my favorite, The Black Gold. I hope they do that.
I have this game for xbox 1, LOVED IT...when it was played online, now its abandoned and the campaign is sorta anoying. Is it worth getting for pc for multiplayer? and can u fly planes(heard a rumor pc version can and xbox version cant)

Its still a decent game worth buying. However u might aswell rent it from a video store so u can see what its like. Though apart from cod4 yor best getting Battlefiel 2 for the PC its only online but one hell of a good game along with cod4 lol.

dude there is A LOT OF PEOPLE STILL PLAYING lol its really fun too no joke i figured the same thing when i rented it and i saw a bunch of maps with them almost full....about 23 maps almost full lol its AWESOME i love sniping on there.....i like the maps bridge too far, black gold, honor, special ops XD it owns
@motosportjunkie I really don't know. I had the PS2 version and looked exactly like that though; same maps, same weapons, same graphics... OOT; Dice made quite a remake of some stuff they tried on Modern Combat and applied them to Bad Company 2, like the mortar strikes for example. Besides what people say, MC was a solid and entretaining game and an awesome FPS for console. Nothing compared to the real PC Battlefield but worthy nontheless.
Oh and don't take me the wrong way, I have a 360 and a PS2 and love them. Its just the battlefield franchise was never about console. Not to mention BF2 for console has nothing similar at all the PC version. They just don't go together. A lot of epic games on consoles still though :P

This looked so much better on the ps3 and xbox 360. It was actually pretty fun when you could get people to stop spamming the sniper class.

This game is the best FPS for the PS2, online. Killzone was good, but modern combat takes the No.1 spot.

Yes they do. It's Battlefield 2: Modern Combat for PS2, not Battlefield 2 for PC. The games had the same essence but barely had anything in common.

Yes You can play BF2 on your PC! And u have expansion packs for it also! It look better than on PS 2 much better i say!
