No one gonna mention Smitty being a good human being here? He’s the only one that still sees Isabel as one of them and not a fallen UC tragedy/cautionary tale.
That's a VERY GOOD point!!!! I guess most of us, we were SO focused, scared that Isabelle was deep down wanting Tim back. BUT u're right!!! Smitty does have his moments. They aren't often, BUT even when he got out of helping clean his RV, he was serious & seemed very genuine, when he said to Lucy "I'm glad, it ALL worked out for Tim!!!"
U're right as well, though she did PUT Tim thru hell & was unfaithful to him & got so caught up, as a junkie, that she allowed her then boyfriend 2 stash heroine in her apartment. BUT she still lied & tried 2 use Tim when she asked him to commit a felony on her behalf!!! BUT...only Tim, Lucy & Isabelle know that. And Isabelle probably NEVER found out, that it wz Lucy who intervened to stop Tim from going thru w/ it!!!! Cuz then, she was still Tim's kryptonite. HOWEVER, she wzn't a dirty cop!!!! (Like Armstrong) AND we saw a side 2 her, of how much she cared about this young girl. That girl could've easily have ONLY felt deeply betrayed when she found out, Isabelle had been a cop. BUT in the end, she could c that Isabelle DID genuinely care about her then & still cared & told her, she could always phone the # Isabelle gave her. I was curious, if there could've been any repercussions, more 4 Lucy when she had no choice, but 2 give Isabelle one of her guns, when suddenly they were in danger.
I gotta say however I thot it wz a bit much 4 Smitty 2b judging Lucy whn he discovers Primm is the Detective who wz gonna try & tank her on the Oral part of the exam & tells her treating ppl like puppets isn't the way to make friends. If u watch the Ep where Nolan Harper, Lopez along w/ Lucy R trying to help Tim, when Lucy tries 2 make 1 change, Nolan says immediately, "Primm & ( this oth guys hate each other). I'm still a little confused b/c I thot Primm wz a Sgt To me, said a lot abt Primm. I laughed rewatching an episode of S3. Its the ep b4 the Finale whn at the end, they know Jackson & Lopez hve bin taken. Its called "Triple Duty". Its when Harper ONLY had a day to train Lucy 4 a sudden solo uc op. BUT Grey says, he will only sign off, if Harper at the end of the day H says Lucy's ready cuz normally it would take 6 mths to train her & H only has a day, & tells Lucy, "I'm throwing u in the deep end." Its interesting whn sumtimes u realize what the title of an Ep really means. Harper drills in2 her that she's has 2 hve 3 streams of consciousness going the whole time!!! And can never let her guard down. Meanwhile Tim & Nolan we were partnered 4 the day together as a result. It's when later in the Ep Lopez realizes La Fiera is seeking revenge 4 the death of his son, by having the killer's son's baby be killed. Nolan & Tim were guarding this one drug lord's son at a certain pt & Smitty wz supposed 2 bring them their regular clothes from their locker. But when he arrives Smitty hasn't & just brought clothes from the lost & found. It's funny b/c BOTH Tim & Nolan are mad, & T says "Why do we rely on u 4 anything?!?!"
Or Smitty's that one colleague who's so out of the loop he literally missed the whole crazy hair and track marks thing, and didn't realize she had left the force until he saw her with a visitor's badge.

AND I loved that they didn't stop kissing just b/c she came out of her room. AND Tamara sees that Tim REALLY cares for her too!!!! She's no longer just Lucy's puppy, but Tim's as well!!! And the whole shower 🚿 brief conversation, Tim didn't hide it from Tamara hearing. Lol!!!! 🤣😂 I think Lucy, however blushed a little.
I just watched 2c what her facial expression was then!!! 🤣😂🤣 LOVE HARPER!!!! ♥️ And Tamara being protective of BOTH Tim & Lucy's rel'ship!!!!! LOVE IT!!! ♥️🥰
I LOVE Lucy & Harper's friendship!!! WHEN not if Tim & Lucy get married, I hope Harper is her matron of Honor. Tamara will also b on her side. Lopez quite easily could b on either but they might hve her as Tim's Best Person. I wish we cld've seen H teach her how 2 fight. When she told L that Tim might b a good TO but there were things he cldn't teach, how 2 fight like a girl. (Sum1 did a video which included the scene from this season, when 1 on 1 by herself Lucy DID fight off a pretty huge guy/wife beater who held his girlfriend up against a wall whn L got there) BUT Aftr that shift H consistently believed in her & helped aftr Caleb & roped in Lopez. When they all realize Caleb wz Rosalind's prodigy & has Lucy, they knew the timeline they had. Jackson says anxiously how few hrs they had. Armstrong says "Or mayb she's dead already." BUT it wz Harper who immediately spoke up & says "Look I know I hven't known Lucy as long as the rest of u. But I know L is a fighter. She's gonna do whatever she can 2 stay alive, til we can get 2 her." I REALLY want Harper 2b Lucy's case officer, esp aftr what H went thru. She believed Lucy had what it took 2b a UC b4 Tim. BUT again, even here, Harper u can tell, thinks Tim is in love w/ Lucy, BUT wants to know if Lucy believes it.
Yes, Angela will definitely be Tim's Best Woman - I think they have an understanding ever since he was her Man of Honour hahaha And Harper and Lucy is such a good friendship, partnership, mentorship - she was right. No one can teach Lucy how to be a female police officer better than Nyla. Maybe the way she started out 'training' her was rough but this seems to be the way to get to Lucy - Tim was the same in the beginning. Loved them together ever since.

S1 we know the Captain, cant recall her name, whn paired w/ Lucy 4 a day, ends up gettin a black eye, cuz L ducked fast, so the Captain got punched w/ pretty big shiner. End of shift L goes 2 apologize. The Captain asked her "Do u know why I chose 2 ride w/ u 2day, Officer Chen?!" She ends up saying 2 L "B/c u impress me." She says "U still hve a lot 2 learn." & as tough as Tim wz, he knew how smart she wz & told Bishop & Lopez, alone in the roll call rm, as the 3 were getting a lie detector test 4 the $200 000 that went missing from the $$$ they were guarding. BUT...even if Lopez is Tim's Best Person, L won't b planning the wedding as much as Tim did 4 hers!! Tim will want 2 gve Lucy the BEST WEDDING!!! I hope there's a great wedding dress scene. I keep saying how much I love Harper's rel'ship w/ Lucy. It also came thru in 'The Fugitive' this season when both Tim & then Grey end up in the hospital. Grey tells Lucy she needs 2 get back 2 the station & Tim adds "'CUZ based on seniority Smitty's in charge ." Of course Smitty is letting all of them leave early & Lucy dozn't think they'll listen 2 her & asks Harper 2 say sumthing. H says "Isn't that why u were sent back?!" Lucy says "They aren't gonna listen 2 me." Harper says just really continuing 2 mentor Lucy "What are u talking about?! After all u've been thru & how many times, u've proven urself, there's not a cop in here, who wldn't hve ur back. U just need 2 tell them something different." And last wk after the shooting, the cop whom Tim had no other choice, but 2 kill or he'd be dead, Lucy is worried & goes to Harper & says "Tim's still w/ I.A." Harper consoles Lucy & tells her when its an officer involved shooting, it takes longer. But that Tim will be fine. Even when Tim came out. Harper tells Lucy "Let him talk to Grey first." I just think she should be Lucy's case officer as a UC cop. I think it would also give Tim some comfort & peace of mind, if it wz Harper.
Hated this for Lucy🥲. I know I'd hate this for myself if I was ever in that situation. Though i liked Harper and Tamara messing with her😂. But that Tim and Isabel interaction is painful to watch even for me.
I re-watched last wk's ep 2nite. I noticed sumthing, I thot wz genuine when Isabel & Lucy were in the vehicle 2gether talkin while Tim wz in the car. L starts saying how she'd liked 2 pick Isabel's brain. Quickly Isabel reminds her Tim can hear & shuts off the listenin device. L asked her, if her career wz worth it? She told L she wzn't sure b/c of ALL that she lost in the end. Isabel does tell L that from what Tim has shared, she has better coping skills than she did & also alludes 2 sumthing in her past that wz a hindrance, but dozn't say what. BUT I did think she passed sum hard won perspective that Lucy DID NEED 2 hear!!! It wz sumthing that Tim hasn't said 2 her b/c he wants 2b so supportive. BUT I think Isabel wz truly genuine.w/ Lucy, when she tells her that doing UC work, ESP long stints DOES take a toll on rel'ships!!! In sum ways, I think it wz best that Isabel did that, b/c there will come a time whn it will affect Tim & Lucy's rel'ship & they will be 4ced 2 communicate w/ each other abt it. Sum things Idk if Lucy can truly understand, til she's sudenly thrown in2 the deep end. Rite now she's SO excited abt it BUT I'm actually NOT sure if Lucy can really know sum of the realities that she will be facing. When Lucy wz gonna transfer she said 2 Tim "It's gonna b weird that I'm not gonna c u everyday. Tim replies "& there's no guarantee our shifts will sync up." Lucy sudenly says "I hadn't thot of that! So by doing the rite thing we're gonna c each other a lot less?" Tim just says "Most likely." Immediately Lucy said "No!!!!" & wz quite sad as she grabs the war bags. Considering how tough Harper is, it cost her dearly w/ Lyla but hearing how she talks abt Donavon I dont think they were ever a great match. Obviously L saw Tim when Isabel already destroyed her career. Lucy only finds out Isabel wz a cop whn she goes up 2 gve her the narcan & in the apartment L learns that she wz a cop in a differ division. Lucy was stunned & tells Tim, bk at the shop "She wz a cop." Both Tim & Lucy had softened as they'd argued rite b4, when N told L she wz gonna hve 2:talk 2 Tim, that's when he tells L, he'd thot Isabel wz hving an affair. Sadly meeting Noah, I think there wz sum truth in what he said, when Lucy asked him abt his girlfriend. Noah says we broke up, adding "I'm starting 2 think UC work isn't conducive to rel'ship."
This is an aside observation. It's weird 2 me, that we NEVER c Harper's & Lopez's Sgt anymore?! Sudenly it wz Grey telling Lopez, it wz time 4 her 2 take maturity leave. It wz SO clear, when Lopez made Detective, Grey congratulated her & told her she'd no longer be reporting 2 him b/c she had finally made Detective & 'Caribean' (no clue how 2 spell his name) wz who she would. Lopez at 1 pt yelled at her new Sgt 4 skipping her out of rotation 4 a case, thinking it wz b/c she wz pregnant. They were in the parking garage, & he responds "1st of all, I gave him that case, b/c he has 2 CIs..." & then says "U're pregnant?!!" Lopez says, "Oh!!" & then says, "U didn't know?!" & add "How could I?" &tells her, he'll let her work basically til her due date if she wants. We have NOT seen him once this Season. Sudenly Harper & Lopez w/ the whole Elijah Stone storyline this yr, their Sgt wz NEVER involved!!! That I don't quite get?! I also wz surprised 2 hear last wk, that Prim wz a Detective. I thot it wz only Sgts who they were orchestrating w/ getting Fuji 2 retire.
Tbh I don't c any chemistry between Isabelle & Tim. I'm sure at some level having not watched the episode yet, b/c I can't until tomorrow, that Lucy has nothing to worry about. SO GLAD we know it's been renewed for the Season 6!!!!
Isabel need to move on .. Tim yes is worrying for Lucy for UC but Tim always be top all of Lucy UC as back up hidden all of them.. There will be the one Tim couldn't be back up person that one he will crazy worrying for Lucy safely... Tim new job as metro and sergeant officer too, he could go in uc jobs too. There are no problems in the future..

L starts saying how she'd liked 2 pick Isabel's brain. Quickly Isabel reminds her Tim can hear & shuts off the listenin device. L asked her, if her career wz worth it? She told L she wzn't sure b/c of ALL that she lost in the end. Isabel does tell L that from what Tim has shared, she has better coping skills than she did & also alludes 2 sumthing in her past that wz a hindrance, but dozn't say what. BUT I did think she passed sum hard won perspective that Lucy DID NEED 2 hear!!! It wz sumthing that Tim hasn't said 2 her b/c he wants 2b so supportive. BUT I think Isabel wz truly genuine.w/ Lucy, when she tells her that doing UC work, ESP long stints DOES take a toll on rel'ships!!! In sum ways, I think it wz best that Isabel did that, b/c there will come a time whn it will affect Tim & Lucy's rel'ship & they will be 4ced 2 communicate w/ each other abt it. Sum things Idk if Lucy can truly understand, til she's sudenly thrown in2 the deep end. Rite now she's SO excited abt it BUT I'm actually NOT sure if Lucy can really know sum of the realities that she will be facing. When Lucy wz gonna transfer she said 2 Tim "It's gonna b weird that I'm not gonna c u everyday. Tim replies "& there's no guarantee our shifts will sync up." Lucy sudenly says "I hadn't thot of that! So by doing the rite thing we're gonna c each other a lot less?" Tim just says "Most likely." Immediately Lucy said "No!!!!" & wz quite sad as she grabs the war bags. Considering how tough Harper is, it cost her dearly w/ Lyla but hearing how she talks abt Donavon I dont think they were ever a great match. Obviously L saw Tim when Isabel already destroyed her career. Lucy only finds out Isabel wz a cop whn she goes up 2 gve her the narcan & in the apartment L learns that she wz a cop in a differ division. Lucy was stunned & tells Tim, bk at the shop "She wz a cop." Both Tim & Lucy had softened as they'd argued rite b4, when N told L she wz gonna hve 2:talk 2 Tim, that's when he tells L, he'd thot Isabel wz hving an affair. Sadly meeting Noah, I think there wz sum truth in what he said, when Lucy asked him abt his girlfriend. Noah says we broke up, adding "I'm starting 2 think UC work isn't conducive to rel'ship."
This is an aside observation. It's weird 2 me, that we NEVER c Harper's & Lopez's Sgt anymore?! Sudenly it wz Grey telling Lopez, it wz time 4 her 2 take maturity leave. It wz SO clear, when Lopez made Detective, Grey congratulated her & told her she'd no longer be reporting 2 him b/c she had finally made Detective & 'Caribean' (no clue how 2 spell his name) wz who she would. Lopez at 1 pt yelled at her new Sgt 4 skipping her out of rotation 4 a case, thinking it wz b/c she wz pregnant. They were in the parking garage, & he responds "1st of all, I gave him that case, b/c he has 2 CIs..." & then says "U're pregnant?!!" Lopez says, "Oh!!" & then says, "U didn't know?!" & add "How could I?" &tells her, he'll let her work basically til her due date if she wants. We have NOT seen him once this Season. Sudenly Harper & Lopez w/ the whole Elijah Stone storyline this yr, their Sgt wz NEVER involved!!! That I don't quite get?! I also wz surprised 2 hear last wk, that Prim wz a Detective. I thot it wz only Sgts who they were orchestrating w/ getting Fuji 2 retire.

Tbh I don't c any chemistry between Isabelle & Tim. I'm sure at some level having not watched the episode yet, b/c I can't until tomorrow, that Lucy has nothing to worry about. SO GLAD we know it's been renewed for the Season 6!!!!
Isabel need to move on .. Tim yes is worrying for Lucy for UC but Tim always be top all of Lucy UC as back up hidden all of them..
There will be the one Tim couldn't be back up person that one he will crazy worrying for Lucy safely...
Tim new job as metro and sergeant officer too, he could go in uc jobs too.

I'd love 2c that 4 Tim & Lucy!!! Lucy will still be in the same Division, whereas Isabelle wasn't!!! I know I've said this repeatedly. BUT I've thot that Tim DID NEED 2b in the same Division as Lucy, esp w/ UC work. And as he said 2 both Nolan & Lucy,"Tragedies always leave scars. BUT only some can u see."
