On the bright side atleast, she's better now and her character is living, breathing proof that it's possible. Recognizing the problem is the first step.
He definitely loved his wife and stayed loyal until the end. He saved her, and letting go was the only thing that could happen. Too much damage was done, Isabel still loved him too, but needed the relationship to stop in order to move forward with her life. I think Tim had such a bad luck when it comes to romance, first his wife, then Rachel left New York without even consulting with him on her decision (he cared more about her, hence the possibility to move there), then Ashley, who he says he cares about, but doesn't want to get married or have kids (deal breaker for him). At the end of the day, the only person that actually reciprocates is Lucy. They are friends, parteners and clearly, there for each other in every possible situation. Lucy can heal him, she also has scars of her own, plus the insane chemistry between the two of them works like magic.
I agree ; this is the best evaluation of Tim so far -- as a man, as a police officer, and as a future husband to Lucy and father to their children. He has grown tremendously from all the heartaches he had gone through and came out the winner from them. Way to Go, Tim; hold on to Tim, Lucy. Love you both
Only problem was he ended up leaving her in the end. AFTER she told him that her incentive to get better was for him to see her sober... So getting sober makes him leave her but he didn't (& wouldn't) leave her when she was an addict ... he may have just de-incentivized her... 💔 I don't agree with his decision at all.
@@ORSkie A year late reading this but someone staying with someone they dont trust/no longer want to be with just cause it may be hard is a bad idea. if he stayed with her till she was a year+ sober then left it would hurt her way more and would risk her relapsing since she at that point wouldnt be receiving the same level of care from rehab.
I agree Isabel doesn’t deserve Tim. Lucy was right about him underneath it all. He s a morally positive and good guy. He loves Isabel and cares about her a lot. Yet she doesn’t like Tim or care about him that why she ditched and cheated on him. Tim can do better and he deserves better.
Isabel got addicted in the job, she was an addict that is why she did all those things. Now she has gone through rehab she can stay sober and stay the person she once was.
Tim fell in love with a women who was or became a decorated officer of the law. He’s strict because he sees where it goes. He understands what drugs do. He’s willing to give his WIFE another chance even though she was at her worse. He wants the women he looked across from and put a ring on. His love is immense. But he realizes her being with him as a cop will always remember what she lost and always make her feel like she is holding him back
I fucking hate when sad and loving scenes like these are interrupted by the badass song at the end. "Fucking let me have the moment!" - Me at the end of this clip
I hope that Tim and Isabel can have another chances together but if they don’t I would like to see Tim and Isabel befriends, happy for one another. Also still in each other’s lives.
I am not sure that not giving her time to realize it by herself is the best way to heal. But brutal honesty is his way, and she seems strong enough to accept it.
He can’t stay in the relationship for her though. It would be like staying with someone just so that they don’t commit suicide - it’s not right. He can’t move past the cheating or the effects left behind by her drug addiction. There’s too much pain there. He’s still her friend though, and he’ll always love her.
Love this show, but Tim's logic is idiotic. People can change, and grow and learn to love again, no matter what. If they were meant to be together, then he should have taken her back, and worked through it.
You know in hindsight all of this conversation would have made so much more sense when they were married. Feeling and talking about those feelings would have saved them their marriage and she wouldnt have ended an addict. I am not blaming anyone but when she said she didnt feel good enough for him it clearly states their relationship wasnt transparent. We dont know much of the backstory but there is a possibility that Tim might not have created a safe space as he might have been dealing with his own demons and Isabel was dealing with her own. Anyway I feel sorry for both of them. But I also love how they did this conversation. It means so much. Its like giving it a closure on so many fronts and moving forward with a clean slate emotionally. More power to the both of them. ❤ Also, Eric Winter is just too good of an actor and i cannot stress upon that enough, he portrayed Tim so well it almost feels like he is a person I know
I respect him for waiting until she was sober to end up the marriage. It would've been easier to leave her when she was at her lowest point. However, he was breaking up here with a version of "its no you, its me" by saying he is the reminder of her mistakes. He's putting words in her mouth, he is deciding things for her. Cut down to season 6 where he does the same thing with Lucy. Huge red flag
Everyone saying that Tim and Lucy should get together🤣🤣🤣. It’s so funny. They can’t be together for the same reasons her and Nolan couldn’t get together. It would also make their relationship as partners weird.
They aren't partners. He was just training her. But her training is over and she's not a rookie anymore so he's no longer her TO. They'll still be in the same station, but not working together.
So he toughed it out to wait for her to sober up to divorce/leave her? Sounds like he did give up on her cause him being the reminder of all the shame and drugs should be a good thing to Prevent her from going down that road again. So yeah HE DID GIVE UP AT THE FINISH LINE.
This guy, this Officer, is ALWAYS a disappointment! He is an intentional king-sized jerk as a Training Officer and NOW he is walking away from his WIFE!! FUDGE DUDE!! You are her best support system! There is no one better qualified. And you are a quitter.
On the bright side atleast, she's better now and her character is living, breathing proof that it's possible. Recognizing the problem is the first step.
Ye ye
calm down ricky kix
“Living breathing proof”… she’s acting? Real drug addicts aren’t acting?
Breathing proof… in a show
You can clearly see he still loved her, but sometimes when you love someone the best thing you can do for them is let them go
Especially if the relationship is toxic or counterproductive
thank you , needed that
I had one toxic ex. She's sleeping in my backyard for last three years.@@michaelbull4344

After she says thank you for never giving up on me the pain in Tim's eyes is so unsettling :( man really did love his wife
that was so sweet when he pretend to leave and turned back to her laughing with her hands together leaning forward and he smiled🥺

He is every woman's dream guy, love his character
He's my dream guy too and I'm a man.
Anybody else here thinks Tim can do better then Isabel, who left him... and cheated on him...
ye

It was the drugs. They make you a different person.
Poor Bradford, he never gave up on her no matter how many times she gave up on him and herself.
I think Bradford and Chen would make a great couple
I know
I was I just thinking about that
THey would be the best couple ever
Yup
I'm glad I'm not the only one they are such a cute couple
160 people support this. ABC MAKE THIS WORK T-T
I love Tim character he wants to connect but he don’t want people to see him soft
I want Tim n Lucy together as a couple they make a match
you know that cant happend right?

Yes! **sad moment** WOOOOHOOOHOOO I'm gonna ..." I cannot find the pause ⏸ button soon enough. 😵
That scene defines bittersweet.
I ship Tim and Lucy!
Omg saaaaame
I hope that Tim and Isabel can have another chances together but if they don’t I would like to see Tim and Isabel befriends, happy for one another. Also still in each other’s lives.
Well Lucy mentioned when she recorded an audio book that she spoke with Isabel, so clearly there is still some connection they have.
I agree
Notice how Bradford's wearing black and white when Isabel mentioned it to him.
This scene is very good and emotional. They both loved each other esp Tim. 💔
Seen the 2 Seasons.
I am not sure that not giving her time to realize it by herself is the best way to heal. But brutal honesty is his way, and she seems strong enough to accept it.
He is so handsome
Fun fact: Mircea Monroe (Isabel) starred with Nathan Fillion in The Uncharted fan short film.
Tim loved Isabel so much that I don’t think he ever stopped
me: *at 3:00am binge watching this when I have a test the next day*
She really looks beautiful sober though.
Tim deserves a fresh start & she needs one.
She is right? ❤
Tim and Lucy 🥰🥰😍😍
I like them as actor. And characters
Bradford is one of my favourite characters
_bruh she’s going to be worse now though-_
He has no idea what he is doing to her.
@jade driggers he's breaking her heart.
He can’t stay in the relationship for her though. It would be like staying with someone just so that they don’t commit suicide - it’s not right. So much for through sickness and health.
But he was with her in her sickness? He only left her after she became sober and honestly I can’t blame him.
Love this show, but Tim's logic is idiotic. People can change, and grow and learn to love again, no matter what. If they were meant to be together, then he should have taken her back, and worked through it.
Yes, i thought about that too
