As a fellow e-bike crash survivor you are totally back sir and I am so thankful for your great recovery and the many more years you can astound me with your musicianship ❤️
These gigs are always good, but I’m really impressed by this performer. Nice singing and tasteful, melodic guitar work. Wonder if she’ll put a UK tour together?
Beautiful playing from all but it sounds like somethings up with the mic on Jocelyn’s amp, or maybe it’s the amp itself. Noticed the same thing with some previous guests. Peter Bernstein for example. I usually love these players tone but it’s not captured here. Maybe it’s the guest amp?
@@teelurizzo8542 yeh, JG’s sound is also thin sounding and its unlike her usual rich tone. It’s a shame it’s not represented as it’s part of her vibe, shes really good at it and has clearly worked on getting a really good archtop tone. Same with PB when he was on, i’m sure their is something up with the signal chain, could be the mic, amp, desk? Not sure.
Completely agree, inexcusable, I'm actually shocked, coz I naively thought it was 'opening tune' type lat minute adjustments, but the problem continued. I wonder if it is by design, since some comments mention it happening w/ previous guests
seems like all the new youtubey guitarists have this permanent creepy smile on their face like they're in a JC penny portrait shoot. What's up with that?
Jocelyn has some soulful chops. And a lovely voice as well.
Awesome performance by all of the band Jocelyn is turning out to be a brilliant singer as well as a superb Jazz guitarist. World class performers.
I'm a huge fan of Jocelyn! She's at the very top !
What a privilege for Jocelyn to be a guest of Frank Vignola's band and Canadians are very proud of such a talented jazz singer/player.
I'm addicted to this guitar nights.
Mr. Ted Rosenthal plays perfectly!! Wonderful!!! What a tone, what a cheerfulness!!!
Amazing. I look forward to this every week and am extremely grateful that such a talented group make their music available here - thank you.

I love Jocelyn Gould album elegant traveler.
Would be much nicer without being interrupted by 5 commercials. Put the ads at the end.
It doesn't get nay better than this. Play on people.

I hear you. FV way louder in the mix.

Very cool but I'm waiting for Frank to have Sonny Greenwich!
I would like to see Joscho Stephan!
Always great to see Sonny mentioned!

The guest always feels lower in sound. It's a shame. It is covered by Frank.
She is too low in the mix, unfortunately coz it's clear she is a great Bop player.
Enthralling collab, but Joycelyn was mixed way too soft. Thanks.
FOH dropped the ball on Jocelyn tonight. She was barely in the mix.
