As a Bears fan from Chicago, I’m incredibly disgusted by the coach and Stevenson on that last play. Especially the coach, who can’t admit what everyone else knows is true. Fire this dude today (and I’ve never said that about a Chicago coach with a winning record), but if he can’t admit that those 12 yards that he just willfully handed over to the Commanders on the second to last play mattered then he shouldn’t be in the league or exist as a head coach at ANY level. Everybody can tell that the previous play made a massive difference in this game and I truly despise this coach for making the ridiculous amount of money he makes per year while never taking responsibility for his obvious mistakes. It’s really pathetic

Everybody forgets about that. But let it be Justin Fields. Stephen A just checks the stats at the end of the game. Uniformed opinion at its best.
The analysis on this has been pretty dumb. The Bears held the 4th best offense to 12 points. The offense struggled all game with terrible O-line play and Caleb still led them to the 1 yard line twice in crunch time. That stupid play call cost them a touchdown, but he led them to scores when Jayden didn't. Jayden had one of his worst games and couldn't complete passes in the red zone.
The Hate is real. The team who that was supposed win Won. Go get your nails painted with your QUATRRBACK AND CRY TOGETHER. 18-15 WASHINGTON REDSKINS (BOOM)
And Caleb struggled majority of the game with one of the worst defenses in the league. The Bears as a whole made them look like they had a competent defense and secondary until the 4th quarter. On offense, JD had hella WR drops and an injured o-line. Plus, JD threw the Hail Mary. JD had one of his worst games against a good defense throwing over 50% with over 270 before the final play. Stupid penalties in the redzone, that’s unlike washington, was the reason the game was close to begin with. Bears clearly got dominated the whole game.

C’Mon Man! Just the way the ball bounces! Most Chance infused play in the NFL! No one is paying attention to where ball is coming down until it is on top of them! Stevenson proves that!
This is an asinine take. The PI penalty on 4th down by Washington is what set this up in the 1st place. That ball was overthrown and if that mistake wasn't made, the game was over right there. Suggesting that Chigago should have won leads me to believe they didn't watch the game.
The fact the commanders even needed a Hail Mary to win that game is kinda ridiculous. It shoulda never even came to that. Washington is amazingly lucky Chicago’s offense waited until til the 4th to do something. 😅
The Bears player messing with the crowd had ZERO effect on that play. Every receiver had to run 70 yards down to the endzone and he had all the time in the world while that play developed to get where he needed to be. . . . and did.
Had Zero effect on the hail mary play??? The player that was messing around with the crowd was the player that end up tipping the ball upward, which enabled the O-receiver to catch the ball!

@@Favouredmojoe Big Time , I was livid when he said that . With his ribs not being at 100% there’s no way he gets that ball to the end zone without that 15 yard completion
Now DQ is a very good Head Coach!!
It's luck call it fair if this was Aaron Rodgers everyone would say it's lucky and give the wide receiver credit so Jayden deserves the same treatment
The media prefers chocolate ice cream, so they're going to keep on heaping undeserved praises on these running QBs and Travis Hunter, who plays in the atrocious Big XII.
Shannon is nuts

That kinda confused me.

He meant horrible not bad that’s why
HOLDING ON 71 FOR WASHINGTON BIG TIME
That Hail mary is what like Aaron Rodgers does
As a Bears fan from Chicago, I’m incredibly disgusted by the coach and Stevenson on that last play.
From Chicago too and I AGREE. Coach and Waldron MUST GO

Media foolery at its finest. Stephen A ain’t gone say nun about Caleb Williams going 4-13 in the first 3 quarters. Kinda like the Bears 1st win of the season with no TD’s. Everybody forgets about that. But let it be Justin Fields. Stephen A just checks the stats at the end of the game. Uniformed opinion at its best.
It doesn't match the narrative they've been spewing so it won't get talked about.
They’re all right to a certain extent.

Bears are better than the Commanders. Dice it how you will. We were terrible yesterday and still should have waxed them ....
The narrative is out of control now. It's too late😂
Only real football minds understand what really happened. Caleb played better than Jayden when it mattered most. Jayden got shut down second half
Such delicious cope. Daniels got hoe'd outta 2Tds by the refs, it should have never even been as close as it was. We are the better team and we proved it despite Chicago having the refs bailing them out. Cry harder
Daniels just secured his spot as him.💪
I’d be worried about caleb Williams if I was bears Fan, he’s not consistent. He’s one of those guys who will be up and down. He can win the game, but he can also lose the game… not consistent enough he reminds me of a higher tear Sam Howell bears fans are in denial I feel bad for them… they should never compare him to JD5
He's literally a rookie with a horrible coaching staff and not so great route runners and a WINNING record..you sound slow

Shannon Sharp was right, but if you look closely at how Tyrique patted the ball, he actually DID swat the ball forward to the right, but the ball DID NOT COMPLY! That play was all Jayden Daniels.
Has Caleb William even thrown a 20+ yard pass ?😭😭
17 total completed over 20 yards believe
Not last game but this season for sure.
Lmao
Caleb is too busy reading his own press clips to be concerned about getting better. Caleb, this ain't the PAC-10.

I’ve been saying this since the start, Caleb isn’t the problem. Eberflus has had 3 seasons to prove something. He’s not their guy to lead it
Give Daniels and Washington credit! If this was aaron rogers or patrick mahomes, stephen would call it skills.
Yeeeeeeeeeeup😮
Same guy who was talking to the fans during the play. Goes over and tips the ball up and backwards to lose the game😂

Today should be Tyrique Stevenson day in Washington.
GO REDSKINS
Caleb Williams will win rookie of the year
It was luck Shannon. Stop it.
Right up there with "Bostic" in the Seattle vs. Packers game 9yrs ago 😂
The Bears player messing with the crowd had ZERO effect on that play. Every receiver had to run 70 yards down to the endzone and he had all the time in the world while that play developed to get where he needed to be. . . . and did.
You must be new to football.
Had Zero effect on the hail mary play??? The player that was messing around with the crowd was the player that end up tipping the ball upward, which enabled the O-receiver to catch the ball!
Where he needed to be was behind the pile to prevent Noah Brown from catching the possible tip. He F'd up dude, get over it
Just admit ur team sucks
I generally have enjoyed watching first take for the past couple of years. I have enjoyed the guest. I am a Chief's fan and a Golden State Warriors fan, but I pretty much give respect where it is due, and I support the idea of the logo "Kindness Decency Respect." When it comes to Dan Orlovsky, a guy you have on your show. I noticed that when he makes a good point you you immediately start ripping to him. Unlike other people who would defend their own position more strongly. It appears to me that Dan appears to have a great deal of respect for you, but he either would have to fear for his job (economic security, he has his family to take care of) or it's about you? It's frustrating to watch you do that to him, especially when he is making good points, which I would imagine you want your viewers to get from your show. Your responses are immediate, and it looks as though anytime Dan O. sounds intelligent you wanna let the audience know that you are the most intelligent one on that screen. That's unfortunate.

Anybody who thinks a Hail Mary is skill doesn’t know football. It’s literally throw and 🙏🙏🙏
Exactly. Lamar in the same situation tried to throw a actual Route as opposed to just giving his Guys a Chance.
For Aaron it’s a skill tho
You're an idiot. Did you hear the Bears coach break down their scheme? They practice hail Mary's and have a sophisticated strategy in place for it. Offenses do the same. Shannon says right here they practice it every week. If there is zero skill why would they bother practicing?
So you saying Dan and Shannon don’t know football? 🤣
@@MajorStormz neither one of them said it was “skill”. they stated it was proper planning and everyone was in their position. Very different then skill
Raise Hail Go Commanders🚦
Takes skill to get the ball that far. Takes luck for the defense to play the Hail Mary as if the game was already over.
crazy ending!!
