Great, honest and informative review. I'm not a fan of the huge bases as they distract from the character but this base looks dead cool. Sadly, the portraits don't match the action pose, not over keen on the ultra gloss paint, the lightning looks pretty naff and the poor quality of how the pieces slot together is unforgivable! Massive shame.
Cool statue. Love the dynamic orientation of it. The only thing I'm not digging is how his skin looks a bit plasticky. The skin kind of makes the portrait look like a doll to me. Thanks for the vid!

Be something using the speed force in your workout 😜...Definitely like the dynamic composition and aesthetics of the body but the gloss bothers me a lot...too much shine. Agree the smirking portrait is the better of the two portraits. Sucks about the bleeding and flesh pigment looks off. Was tempted to get this at first but I’m ok not getting it. Can’t wait to see your Rogue video unboxing and review when you get her. Hoping mine comes with no breakage or issues with paint bleed
Overall paints and design are really Prime 1 standards aka excellent. The fit of of the electricity is awful, even if you take a hairdryer to it there's not enough friction on the pieces to keep them from popping out, they skimped on the magnets....especially for the largest piece of lightning, which also doesn't even fit correctly. The front arm piece hasn't got the right key for the hole and if you look on the instructions it doesn't even match. For a Prime 1 piece the QC and finish is pretty awful. I still like the piece overall mainly due to the pose but i expect so much more from Prime 1.
CollectioNeo thanks for letting us know. I knew there was an issue with those pieces. Sometimes it’s just a one off issue but seeing as you have the same problem, then I’m not alone there. I agree, I like the pose a lot which makes me want to let it go, but wish it was better
@@MCECentral I ended up modding mine by carving out holes where the large lightning piece connects and putting in magnets....if you look on the Flash himself and the road where the large lightning piece connects you can see there is already a recess for the magnets...so it was just a case of dropping them in and adding glue. The tiny earth magnets which are super strong were just $4 from ebay...why Prime 1 couldn't have done this is beyond me. But my lightning pieces now hold to the statue perfectly although they still do not sit flush....For well over $800 shipped this was a real disappointment from Prime 1 and i have no idea why they dropped the ball so hard on this piece when others are so flawless.
