And using the cosmic treadmill as the base is a nice tip of the hat to the characters silver age history. Your statue reviews really are wonderful in showcasing a statues detail and overall look compared to just looking at pictures on a website. Gem, at 8:49 when you're showing a close-up from behind, if you look at the back middle of the blue wave to the left, you can see a notch in it for a piece of the gold lightning. Awesome design on this one!
Finally Gem...you put a towel down instead of putting the statue pieces down on the hard surface. You had nervous for you putting it together. I'm really limited on what I can by but this piece is wicked for sure. I've been off RUclips for a minute and getting caught up. Great as always Gem.

Awesome figure, prepping my statue for printing and trying to figure out how the molds are going to be. I wonder if that Flash statue was printed and cast as one piece or multiple pieces, glued and fixed the seam lines afterwards.

Great review. I just gave one to my nephew for his birthday. XM Studios is doing a great job on the 1/6 scale line. I usually buy 1/4 th scale. XM Studios can be quite pricey but we'll worth it. I already have this on pre-order, but this video reinforced the fact that I made a good decision. I'm always anxious when I pre-order "blind", especially on these MTO pieces ... I'm afraid I'll lose a great priece but the end product might be "problematic" (just look at XM"s Darth Maul piece). It would be good to have more reviews on these pieces, because convention-photos are not enough. I know that this is only a prototype and subject to change, but still beats some photos or random footage from a convention. Keep it up, and if you can get a hold of more of these 1/6 piece form XM and review them, would be great! I already have all of the existing ones on preorder, but I know they're working on the Lobo/Cyborg pieces now, so would be cool to have those reviewed on your channel first ;)

Been waiting for you to do a review on this piece! My first impressions are that it looks great for 1/6th scale piece. I like the base, it’s pretty unique and the lines and everything looks clean with a lot of details in it. Flash also looks great, love the dynamic pose they have him in (unlike Kotobukiya flash) and how they have the little lightning effects around him. The costume looks like it’s based off comic book flash and not movie flash, which I prefer so I’m glad they added some shading to the red, otherwise it would look too bright. Couple of changes I hope they will make: 1. The Blue and white vortex pieces should be made in a clear blue resin instead of the solid colors. This would make Flash even more awesome when you have him lit up in a display case. 2. They should drop the price a bit. $500 for a 1/6th scale is kinda high even when factoring in free shipping. I mean 1/4 scale sideshow pieces start at $550. Tweeterhead also makes some really nice 1/6 scale pieces that go for $275 w/o shipping. Anyways, really glad to see your 1st review on a DC piece. I know you personally don’t collect DC stuff but I hope you continue to do more reviews of these pieces from XM Studios. Who knows you might see one that speaks to you 😝

I noticed some empty spaces for the remaining lightning bolts. Some of em were on the blue wooshes. But dude that looks dope as fuck and it would be awesome to see some DC characters for a change instead of marvel all the time (not that I am tired of it coz I love both DC and Marvel. Both are great) and Saitama. That will be dope too coz I enjoy watching One Punch Man. Ooh plus I'm hyped for the new season
Looks great except for one small detail that sticks out like a sore thumb to me. On the second vortex piece at the top. The coloring makes it look like the piece is broken off(which i can see it clearly is not), they should add some color to the tip. You can't see it from the front so its probably not something they are too worried about in a proto.

I don’t get the feeling that flash is really moving fast. The treadmill seems like it is not moving. Without the treadmill it would look better. They should have chosen another base.

it could have been. i know thats how some of the customs are done...probably do have 3D printers that are big enough.
