Huh, so this is actually a different commentary from the Anchor Bay one on my DVD. All the same people, different recording. What is it with the living dead movies and the endless versions and re-releases?
The producer Richard P. rubinstein, has ridiculous expectations for these lving dead movies, he wastes time making altered versions and he is just crazy and unrealistic. There is like 4 different versions of Dawn of the Dead.
Beautiful relic. Whenever people ask me what’s your desert island stuff, the dead trilogy’s commentary is what I’m bringing.
Awesome!! Thank you for posting this one.
The Deid will wook de Erf, mon.
Weird that this commentary never made it on the dvd of the Extended Edition. Wonder if there was a licensing issue?
It was done for the Elite laserdisc. Anchor Bay decided to record a new track for the DVD boxset.
When was this recording made? Very cool. Tom Savini seems like a great guy. He and George both.
If I'm not mistaken, this commentary of George, Christine, and Tom was recorded in 1996.

Is this the one from the 90s LaserDisc that's never been ported over?
