Technically it was Kevin's fault Tim got killed. He told Nick to look for some hidden item when he was about to go upstairs. And that's when he encountered the Wheezing

Speaking of the sabrina episode. I remember ash went and got a haunter so he could beat her. Then the haunter proceeded to make sabrina laugh. So she was like here ash, you can have the badge. And then charmander was like wtf, you didn't even earn that! And that's why chameleon doesn't obey ash, because he's not a worthy trainer in Charizard's eyes.

But seriously, if you guys do this again with another Pokemon game sometime down the line, my suggestion would be Pokémon Emerald. Same engine as FireRed so Andy could still modify it, given the time. Also, definitely look into finding a randomized rom, where all the starters and wild encounters are random. It’d add a lot more variety in terms of the pokemon you’d find, plus it would allow you to catch a lot more to name after viewers

Man, this really is the only way to play Pokémon.
Just for the love of god… STAB just means a fire Pokémon using a fire moves does extra damage, same type of move as the Pokémon using it gets an attack bonus… the opponent doesn’t matter. It’s simple

All STAB means is if you're a fire type pokemon and you use a fire type move, it's more powerful. So for example, your Gengar using Psychic is less powerful than if a psychic pokemon, like Hypno, uses psychic since Gengar is a Ghost Poison type.

Can't believe we spent so much of this stream complaining about being too powerful to catch anyone and nobody suggested getting someone with false swipe.
People did, but it would just take too long, only Farfetch'd, Scyther and Marowak learn it and theyre not that strong and getting them up to lvl 45ish would extend the stream way longer than necessary tbh
