Yeah, just so nonchalantly hands him a Nobel medal. I guess when you're surrounded with this stuff all day the awesomeness just becomes part of your life!
Any of you Tims think the shirt might be hinting at a comeback. They said it would just stop out of nowhere, which it did. But never said it could start again...?
Truly fascinating. I hope you guys, and all of the other contributors to the Brady videos truly understand what a priceless service you are doing for the public. Thank you.
I presume Keith picked Cornforth's Nobel because he was an Australian like Brady. I'm sure there's lots of other Nobel medals just lying around the building 8-). As others have noted, Cornforth won it in 1975, not 1965.
Now I will spend the rest of my life wondering if that cabinet ever broke, and all the medals spilled out. If I were a woodworker I would totally make a new cabinet and little frames for the medals. Would be a cool legacy :D
3:20 "Keith, what is best in life?" "Crush the glass schmutz. See it driven onto the carpet before you. Hear the lamentations of the Royal Society cleaners."
Does the box have any significance? If not, I imagine there's thousands of people who would give anything to build a replacement. Also, Brady, not knowing Cornforth? Chemistry is how you started your business isn't it? I almost want to say that's why Keith got that specific medal.
At the very beginning of the video Keith is looking at the camera. Then he looks back at Brady and when he looks back again you can see the evil genius. 0:03
Of course that box is cracked, it can't handle the crushing weight of all that... HEAVY MEDAL. ... :D Oh come on, that joke was like a Nobel prize... SOLID GOLD. ... :D
I'm curious- with these sorts of videos, is the Royal Society at all concerned that they might encourage burglary attempts? I was just thinking when Brady held the key up, that a skilled locksmith could potentially make a copy based on that image. From watching the video, they'd also know what the medals cabinet looks like, and exactly what sort of medals are inside. Or is the Society already such a high profile target that this video doesn't add much *extra* risk?
Can you please do one with the white gloves of destiny were you pick the first card and the last one in alphabetical order from the giant drawer in the archives?
+Objectivity Yes you did, my apologies. Anyway thanks for the amazing videos, not only on this channel but all of them. Easy to understand, simple, clear, interesting and entertaining.
Now I want to get a Nobel prize too. Better start working on something that changes our lives for the better or confers us with new and profound understandings.
I cringed when brady put his hands on his head! I know those gloves are probably just for show, but he must have picked up lots of oils and other hair care chemicals on those gloves right before handling the items. Also, I have a feeling he knew the whole time a nobel prize was coming :)
Keith has a great sense of humor! Also, it was so sweet when he surprised Brady with the Nobel Prize. Awesome video!
Yeah Keith is great.
Yeah, just so nonchalantly hands him a Nobel medal. I guess when you're surrounded with this stuff all day the awesomeness just becomes part of your life!
This is probably the best show on RUclips
Thank you. Do help us share it around.
and it still is!
I cried a bit when Keith appeared with the nobel prize for Brady :) so good!
it was cute :3
Gear and nail! Hello to all the Tims watching :)
hi Tim
+SimonOxfPhys Flaggy Flag Forever!
+SimonOxfPhys Flaggy Flag is the one true flag! Vive la Flaggy Flag!
Any of you Tims think the shirt might be hinting at a comeback. They said it would just stop out of nowhere, which it did. But never said it could start again...?
2:19 Darwin Award lol
0:04 not a single panty remain dry after that look from Keith
Truly fascinating. I hope you guys, and all of the other contributors to the Brady videos truly understand what a priceless service you are doing for the public. Thank you.
5:32 - 1975, is it not?
+thecassman you are quite right... I actually thought we picked up this error on the filming day and re-recorded, but maybe not!? - Brady
Objectivity That's OK - I doubted myself for a second!
+Objectivity
What's that the shirt?
+Objectivity
Excuse my phone skills.
*what's the tee shirt?
I felt a bit fooled that there were no Nobel until I saw Keith run away when I knew something was up.
I've subscribed to almost all Brady Haran channels, but Objectivity is my favorite. Keep up the great work Keith & Brady (a viewer from Sri Lanka)
Keith has really opened up in this series.
Keith is the best!
You guys do such a wonderful job on these, they are so well made. You and Keith have a great rapport, and it really does make these special.

Look at that reflection of the ceiling! Beautiful!
Make a series of shorts going more in depth on each medal! Just some nice shots of them and a bit of history and other interesting notes.
Now I will spend the rest of my life wondering if that cabinet ever broke, and all the medals spilled out. If I were a woodworker I would totally make a new cabinet and little frames for the medals. Would be a cool legacy :D
Best channel on RUclips.
"look at all those numbered draws" Braidy 2016
Maybe one day one of the Hello Internet medals will be in there.
I wonder if him wearing that shirt might be a signal it's possibly coming back???
What an amazing video Brady! Thank you :)
Keith is great in these videos and how could you not have a crush on Brady?
You guys should 3D scan that stuff.
NAIL AND GEAR!
So awesome! Thanks so much!
3:20 "Keith, what is best in life?"
"Crush the glass schmutz.

Brady: "There's the back."
*turns medal*
*there's a butt on it*
Keith is so awesome!
2:25 Is that literally a Darwin Award?
Oh...and I have both US Mint Franklin Commemoratives , certified PF-70. I forget the year they were minted off hand
Lovely t-shirt!
wonderful!
@Objectivity
At 5:24 - MCMLXXV is 1975, not '65
Nice haircut! Would have looked great on Instagram :))
I've picked up a bunch of U.S. Presidential Medals going to coin shows over the last few years.
MCMLXXV = 1975, not 1965
you gotta love objectivity😍
Casual Keith, hey ? :-P
And nice job on the tee-shirt Brady ! I'm sure Grey will appreciate … ;-)
Nice video, keep up the good work. :-)
Nice shirt, Brady! (and haircut)
Hey Brady, will you give the RUclips play button to the Royal Society when the channel gets to 200k?
Don't they get it @ 100k? If so then not too long now!
Yes you are right!
+Enrico Piazza I´d love this to happen.
What do people even have to dislike? Like seriously... what...
Nice hair cut Brady!!!
2:21 Oh look! It's the Darwin Award!
What a great surprise :-)
LOL!! "...look at all those numbered drawers!" :P
What is this, Numberphile? ;)
Let me know if the Royal Society ever decides to have a rummage sale.
At the very beginning of the video Keith is looking at the camera. Then he looks back at Brady and when he looks back again you can see the evil genius. 0:03
Of course that box is cracked, it can't handle the crushing weight of all that...
HEAVY MEDAL.
... :D
Oh come on, that joke was like a Nobel prize...
SOLID GOLD.
... :D
Nice
came for the Nobel.
Nice Hair Cut Brady!
Nail and gears!!!
Keith, the mischievous :)
Great that the Nobel prize was there, or else this would have been a Parker square of a medals video.
What's the weight and finesse of the gold coin?
+Ticktockwock1
Did you just call a Nobel Prize medal a "gold coin"? ;)
Very interesting :)
Hm - this case needs a showcase of its own :-D
With the drawers by its side, of course...

You should add HD pictures of each slide for us nerds!
Can you please do one with the white gloves of destiny were you pick the first card and the last one in alphabetical order from the giant drawer in the archives?
+Mr.DunkelBerry We did that already I think!?
+Objectivity Yes you did, my apologies. Anyway thanks for the amazing videos, not only on this channel but all of them. Easy to understand, simple, clear, interesting and entertaining.
Nice haircut. worth the hour and a half wait.
Ok Nobel prize is probably the most known, but what about a Fields Medal?
+nordbart CP check out Numberphile - I did a video on that medal over there.
Woo, shiny!
is that darwin award
I thought there was an empty space in that top drawer...
All my fellow confederates, we will rise under the banner of Flaggy Flag once again
No discussion on the Darwin medal?
Now I want to get a Nobel prize too. Better start working on something that changes our lives for the better or confers us with new and profound understandings.
made any progress on that? :)
Shame to let that cabinetry die. Get someone like Paul Sellers on YT here to fix/replace it.
2:22 I usually hate the term Darwin Award ...
Brady, I'm not going to say it, but the first thing out of your mouth was BEGGING for a lewd comment.
Box so full of Awards that it's falling apart #royalsocietyproblems
Make that 1975 (LXXV)
Ha! Hello Internet T-shirt! =)))
Is that the hair?
John Cena is the monarch? :D
nice haircut
coingasm

Might be time to switch out those gloves. Those are getting quite mangy with history.
Be careful with that nail and gear, you'll scratch the artifacts.
#TeamFlaggyFlag
Sneaky Keith..saving the best for last ;)
ha! Not even a single nobel prize! Dandy behavior gone waste
Vive la Flaggy Flag!
These loot crate videos are getting ridiculous
You guys do such a wonderful job on these, they are so well made. You and Keith have a great rapport, and it really does make these special.
